Is it true that bipolar brains look different then regular brains?!


Question: Is it true that bipolar brains look different then regular brains!?
my mom says they gave me an MRI the first time i was admitted to a hospital for my bipolar and they could tell by the scan that i was bipolar because the chemical imbalance showed up on the MRI because of 'hotspots' like those really colorful scans, is this true!? i've never heard of scanning someone for people bipolarWww@Answer-Health@Com

MRIs don't show any mental illnesses!. You might be talking about a SPECT scan!. It's colorful whereas MRIs are black and white!. SPECTs are new and not fully accepted in the medical community, but yes, there's a pattern for bipolar that can be seen in one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
