Help Advice opinion needed please...HELP PLEASE!!! NEED HELP PLEASE IM BEGGING U!

Question: Help Advice opinion needed please!.!.!.HELP PLEASE!!! NEED HELP PLEASE IM BEGGING U!?
I finally switch to a dif!. doctor M!.D!. and today was my appointment with my new one!. It's weird because it's the same office and same building as my old one so my old doctor and new doctor knew each other very well!. I knew I will have a tough issue about it!.

I told my new doctor what I have told my old doctor!. I said that my old doctor wasn't helping me and not knowledgeable about my situation because she was young!. The new one i have is a bit more experience because he is old!.

I told my new doctor that the medications wasn't helping me and I told him what I had been feeling this weeks since the last time I seen my old doctor!.

I stated what i had and have been feeling and doesn't know what I'm diagnosed from!. Above I will post it because it doesn't fit and I can only type as much here!.

So like my question is!.

He reacted that he said he couldn't prescribe me other medications and it's best for me to seek psychotherapist instead because he doesn't know what I'm really diagnosed fromWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
ok, don't worry about your typing skills etc!.!.I understood you perfectly!. I'm guessing you're from USA!? not from UK anyway - another guess!. The drug names were nearly all unfamiliar so I looked them up eg!. Effexor is used in UK and known to me Venlafaxine hydrochloride and luckily it was the 1st I checked and set the scene for the various other anti-depressants you've tried!. Now, personally I think its a psychiatrist you need to see as this is their specialty and will help with diagnosis, various treatments (talking therapies perhaps) and medication more appropriate!. They will also listen to ALL your worries and symptoms!. How long have you been hearing voices!? Its great you can 'ignore' them as I bet they can be rather negative in their opinions!? That won't be helping you feel good when out & about eh!? You're not alone & you appear to have great insight & genuinely want help here!. GP'/family DR's more often than not don't understand!. Sometimes they are lacking in basic interpersonal skills and cannot walk in ones shoes and have empathy!. They are unable to 'imagine they were you' as such!. I am nearly 40 and a qualified psychiatric nurse!. I could be very wrong in my opinion but I do think I'm more on the ball than your doctors!! lol! feel free to email me if you like and I'll try my very best to help you!. If you don't feel comfy with your new doc ask for another one!. its cool, we all have this right and choice!. things will get better, you'll see!.!.!.x

p!.s!. sorry, just re-read and realized you're note re: psychiatrist was there - see, i underestimated your docs old/new as I thought he/she
suggested you see a psychotherapist! they gave you the correct direction to take then - you do need to see a psychiatrist!.

perhaps you could ask your doctor about funding!? don't know if this link will be helpful but surely there must be someone/organization to help folks in similar situations to yourself!?

why don't you want therapy!?!.!.medication isn't always the answer and therapist are nice and friendly and want to talk to you more than pschologist do!.!.so why don't you try it and instead of saying no!.!.also the first therapist you get isn't always the right oneWww@Answer-Health@Com

find another doc or get this one to recommend philological visits to your insurance companyWww@Answer-Health@Com

believe me when i say i know exactly how you feel i feel the same way as you do believe it or not i just had a panic attack like 5 min ago and answering your question helps me feel better!. i believe that medication sometimes may not be the answer!. sometimes is better to talk about problems you might be having or just to talk about things that stress you out!. at first you might still feel the anxiety and panic attacks but in the long run they will begin to go away because when you talk about your problems you are no longer holding things in and that will release you of a bunch of stressWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm so sorry you're going through a hard time!. Finding a good doctor is very important and not always easy to do!. Perhaps you can try to find a doctor that's in a different office, if your insurance will cover it!. There also may be some kind of medical advocate that can help you get your message across to your doctor!. Type "patient advocacy" into a search engine and see if there's anything that might help you!. Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
