Is it wierd to hear sounds in someone's snoring?!
Question: Is it wierd to hear sounds in someone's snoring!?
My hub snores!. It's pretty bad but I noticed that when I have my head on my pillow it filters out some of the sounds that compose the snore!. Last night I could swear I heard a large dog yelping outside but it stopped when I picked my head up off the pillow!. Later on it sounded like someone was slamming a book on a table!. When I listened really carefully I could hear those sounds mixed in with other sounds in his snores!. Is that wierd or is there a term for it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is just the way the sound is traveling through the air and into your ear!.
Things will sound different if you put your ear against different objects!.
That is normal-freaky sometimes to hear it though!. I have never hear of a term for that!.
If you're at a swing set, and someone is swinging,(the metal poled kind) and you put your ear against it, you'll hear everything differently-dramatically differently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps you have fluid in your ear and that is what you can hear roaring!. Sometimes I can hear my heart pumping when I lay on my side in the bed !.

My father wears one of those masks because he has sleep apnea!. When I was growing up he sounded like a coffee pot percolating!. Maybe your husband should be checked for sleep apnea!. Best Wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
