Is there a natural way to deal with panic attacks?!

Question: Is there a natural way to deal with panic attacks!?
I've been having more than one panic attack a day for quite a while now and lots of people tell me to see someone about it!. But, I'd rather not see someone just so they can tell me to take some drugs that turn me into a zombie during the day when I'm trying to live my life and spend time with people!. Does anyone know any way to stop a panic attack when it starts without the use of meds!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that the best way to deal with these episodes is to make peace with them!. What we tend to want to do is get rid of them and this actually makes the problem worse!. When you feel one coming on, you could welcome it like an old friend and just watch how it progresses and changes without trying to push it away!. This may be hard to do at first but if you persist it will lessen the power of that panicky feeling!. I think you're right to try to do this without drugs because that typically just hides the problem!. Then when you stop taking them the attacks begin again!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do a lot of breathing!. When I feel one coming on I breath in through my nose and out through my mouth!. It helps to calm me down!. Also you need to figure out what is triggering the attacks and deal with that issue!. I have been dealing with these for almost 15 years with no meds!. I do a lot of writing and coloring!. It sounds silly but it helps me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A friend of mine goes for runs!. She finds that a hard run a day relieves enough tension to prevent them from occurring most of the time!.

I don't think it has to be running though - any hard exercise (she likes running)!.

Edit: This form of prevention was recommended by her doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
