Yes, I suffer major depression!. But, it still amazes me just how many people are depressed!. I have a good support system and they are the ones who need the help when I am at my worst!.

I am almost bedridden because of my depression!. I also have anxiety and panic attacks,as well as, Chronic Fatigue and Fibromalgia!. So I have a lot of muscle and joint pain and debilitating fatigue!. I read and use my laptop to keep my mind occupied buy I do get lonely and wish I had the stamina to go out sometime!.

I have been on many different medications but I cannot tell that they do me much good!. Some times, I just want to trash them all!.

I am sorry of all of you who suffer this terrible and debilitating pain!. Because depression really does hurt!. And contrary to popular believe, you cannot just pull yourself out of it!. May God Bless you all and give you peace and understanding and the ability to cope!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm constantly being pushed to 'get better' and 'start doing something'!. I sleep a lot and depression often leads to self - injury and other things!.

I don't take medication as of now because I've been through at least 15 to 20 medications and the Last 2, One put me into a coma and the other did nothing!.

I have a somewhat broken support system!. There is a couple of people who seem to dominate and ruin everything no matter how much the rest of the support system wants to help and keep things in order, they're self absorbed thinking messes things up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah, i've been depressed for four years and counting!. my depression makes me not want to get up out of bed fromt the moment i wake up!. also, i stay in the house all day when i can, and i never interact with my neighbors, even though i'm usually very friendly!.

my most dysfunctional aspect is that i'm extremely pessimistic and negative!. usually i can look on the bright side of things, but when i'm in a depressed episode, i tend to feel hateful towards everyone and everything

my support system is my friends and family!. without them, i don't think i would be here today!. they give a reason for living because i don't think they like to see me unhappy!. they tend to cheer me up and turn my mood around, so i can always count on them, and i love that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

been depressed for four years now

i dont take any medications, i did talk therapy for awhile and now depression has less of an effect on my life because i got a new perspective though it was hard to get it in my head

depression probably effected me the most physically (stomach pains a lot) and then time-wise because i would never have any energy and would be constantly sleeping or i would never sleep at night cause so many thoughts flood my head and would be so tired during the day that i slept

i have recently established a support system with a person i met six months ago, hes always there for me and i dont really know how to describe it but hes just everything to me hes a father, a friend, a lover, everything and he makes me feel so good about myself and NEVER puts me down!.!.!.then i have my therapist who said that she would always welcome me if i need anything

a support system really helped me feel better because it made me feel like someone loved me and was there for me in this world that seems to be so harsh and evilWww@Answer-Health@Com

The recommended Medication is PROZAC a type of antidepressant!. However, I would only encourage if you really needs it!.
A few dysfunctional such as weight increase, tired!.
Yes!. A few strategies you can do:
Step 1: Ensure your emotion is controlled daily!. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get depress easily
Step 2: Think before your action!. Don't repeat your past experience on yourselve
Step 3: Be confident to yourselves!. Remember everyone is the winner!. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize a eggs"
Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time

Depression!.!.!.is obnoxious and makes you just, well, sad!. I don't take medications, or see a therapist, although I probably should!. It makes you apathetic and people don't want to gravitate towards you!. It makes you feel alone (even though I was in denial forever) and worthless!. You have a negative for every positive and your glass is always half empty!.

I don't have a support system, because I don't tell people!. I don't feel like it's their problem, so why make them feel bad for me!? Depression sucks balls :/Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've lived with depression for years, I used to take medication but it just made it worse!. It's caused me to stay away from people because I feel like no one likes me and that they are always saying bad things about me!. I started reading books and that helps most of the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well when ur depressed you feel very unhappy so the people around dont really want 2 be around you and could run or do something you like 2 get it off ur mindWww@Answer-Health@Com
