I'm on Zoloft, when should I take it?!

Question: I'm on Zoloft, when should I take it!?
I've been on 50 mg of Zoloft for about 3 months for anxiety and depression!. I started taking it at about 4 pm after I got home from school!. Then when school got out for the summer, I took it at 3 pm!. Then I switched to about 1 pm!. School will be starting soon, so I obviously can't take it at 1 pm or 3 pm at school!. What time do you find it best to take it!? Before dinner or bed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
When I was on it, my doctor said to take it first thing in the morning if it made me jumpy or right before bed if it made me sleepy!. I think the idea is morning or night so it fits into a routine!. But if it makes you sleepy so that you're tired still when you wake up, 7 pm might be better than say 11!. Bodies react very differently I think!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That all depends on you and if it makes you tired or not!. If so, you need to take it 1 hour before bedtime!. If it does not, most usually take it as soon as they get out of bed!. But you defiantly need to pick a time and stick with it!. By switching the time you take it will affect you and you won't be able to tell if it is working properly!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Either morning or evening, does not matter since you are used to it now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My zoloft does not make me tired, so I take it first thing in the morning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take mine right before bed!. It is easy to remember and has just become a part of my routine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
