Question: Wellbutrin for libido and weight loss!?
I'm considering starting wellbutrin!. I only want to hear experiences that are positive!. I'm aware of the negative possibilities!. If you lost weight, how much did you lose!? If your libido increased, how much!? thanks so much!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am 5'4" and had starting weight of 174 lbs!. I went in to see my nurse practioner for depression and told her I didn't want to get on any anti depressants that caused weight gain!. She suggested wellbutrin, I take 150mg x 2 daily!. I saw the effects within days!. I have been on it for about 6 months now!. I am down to 154 lbs!. For me it definately took away my cravings for sweets and food in general!. I was a huge sugar junkie and my cravings went away!. If you begin taking it I would suggest starting out fresh!.!.!.!.!.!.cut out the sodas, drink plenty of water, get rid of the junk food in your house!.!.!.!.the wellbutrin will definately help you along the way!. My libido did increase but not so much because of the drug I think, but because I started feeling so much better about my body after the weight loss that I wanted s*x more (my husband was very happy! lol)!. My NP says that I will probably have to stay on wellbutrin for the rest of my life, which is fine for me!. !.!.!.!.!.I have only had positive side effects and it has done wonders for my depression and anxiety!.!.!.!.!.I feel like a new person!. Eventually I think the weightloss tapers off but the wellbutrin definately kickstarted it!. I am continuing to lose weight but mostly because I feel so great about the first 20lbs coming off!. I does curve your appetite and some people are able to have normal sex lives!. I lost 30 pounds on Paxil and most people gain weight, so everybody's chemistry makeup is different!. ?Www@Answer-Health@Com
