this Q seems to attract a lot of interest,- clearly tat is an option, it stimulates the pleasure centres in the brain, same a real sex almost, is readily available, does not cause the usual troubles )finding a suitable partner, evoked emotions, giving free choice of preferences as a bonus)- it eventually crates an "addiction-memory", and the trace that leeds you there, becomes deeper and deeper entrenched!.
is the same as with drugs&alcohol or gambling!.
another bonus is, that it does not carry the risk of sexually
transmitted diseases like HIV, syphylis and HEP C!.
it is also cheaper than entertaining a prostitute and less
emotionally cumbersome than having a partner!.

Too much of anything can be harmful!. You can get addicted to shopping, eating, sex, porn, excercise, and I could go on ad-nauseaum!.

I don't care what it is!. Thirty years ago there were probably still porn addictions, they just weren't technological in nature!. I would suspect those guys had to use magizines!. Technology has fostered many of the addictions we have today!. Yes, the definition of addiction is that you need to undertake the activity regularly, or you suffer withdrawal symptoms, these can simply be psychological withdrawal, rather than physical!. Also that with time the 'dose', or in this case the level, needs to be increased!. This fulfils the 2 criteria needed to qualify as an addiction!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A person can have an "addiction" to anything!.!.!. but there's a big difference between a mental addiction and a physical addiction!. I suppose you can be addicted to anything, but yes, some people, especially men, can become addicted to porn!. They find that without porn, sex is no longer exciting!. Porn can also become a substitute for the real thing, which certainly has a bad impact on a marriage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
