How should I help my boyfriend through this?!

Question: How should I help my boyfriend through this!?
I've known my boyfriend for more than 2 years even though we've only recently been a couple!. He's always had problems in life, particularly when it comes to emotional well being!.

He suffers from mild dissociative identity disorder, periodic anxiety attacks, and a variety of other psychological complaints!. A few times he has even hurt himself, and even once attempted suicide!.

He's had a rough time in the past and refuses to trust either his family, his teachers or mental health professionals!. The relationship with his family is particularly rocky!.

I know his parents have been considering admitting him to a ward!. He's been indicating that he would rather kill himself or drop out of school and run away rather than let that happen!.

As his best friend and girlfriend, I don't know what to do!. Neither my friends nor my family will have anything to do with him!. We don't go to the same school!.

He depends on me a lot, and lately it's just too much to handle by myself!. What can I do to help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hun,He has a lot of problems but don't listen to the girl up their if you care about him!.

I hate saying this but i think he needs to go to a psycholigist and get medication or get diagnosed i know its kinda hard to do cause it will most likely make him feel uncomfortable but it can help trust me i have been to 3!.

just talk to him and tell him you think it can really help him and if they put him on meds then it will probably benefit more then it he or you think

but basically just be there for him and he obviously needs you and you are very strong and brave for sticking by him

email me if you have any questions about what to do or medications and stuffWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your very strong to be with him and sticking with him, believe it or not you are already helping him by being the only person there for him who he can trust, but for you you also need help and support, is there a close friend you can confide in!? or maybe go to his gp together!?
chatting on here for you can help some too
take care nat xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

friends, okay
But don't let this friendship prevent you from looking for the man of your dreams, with that great job and education, who will support you and a bunch of kids for ever!.
encourage to go to the hospital for treatment, that's usually the best and quickest treatment, not a cure, he will never be cured!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

He needs professional help and medication!. You need to give him space and time to get well!. You cannot fix him!
If he has a full psychological exam doctors will be able to assess the situation better and they will be able to have a clear idea on which the best course of treatment will be!. Once he is on meds he needs to take them faithfully or they will not work!.
Hope this helped you sweets!
Get him a shrink fast, the are programs out there even if he does not have insurance!. Best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

hey, be there for him!. walking really helps depression, get out in nature its very healing!. look at alternative meds!. he has to learn to love himself before he can love anyone!. he also has to look at how he sees the world!. develop an attitude of graditude is also good!. Tell him that u care and there is hope!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Medication is available, and since suicide seems to be one of his options, you, and his family have a obligation to see that he gets it!. Quit with the "lip service" and do something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To help who!? You or him!?
If it's for you - make sure the cake is worth the candle!.
If it's for him - support him by just being there for him whatever happens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, it seems that you really love your boyfriend alot that you have been with him for so long considering the fact that he has many different types of problems!. that's really nice!. well, some thing that you could do is try to talking to him about going to a doctor even if you go with him, so he knows that you are trying to help him out and your gonna help your self out as well because you could talk to the doctor yourself and tell him to tell you some things that you could do with him so everything could work out in a better way!.!.you should also try some time with him alone so he dosent feel left out and knows that you love him and that your always going to be there for him!. try this and everything is going to work outWww@Answer-Health@Com
