Why would a coworker make barking, quacking, meowing, and other noises?!

Question: Why would a coworker make barking, quacking, meowing, and other noises!?
I work with someone who barks, quacks, meows, chirps, yips, and makes all kinds of other noises!. When the phone rings, she imitates that sound!. When someone walks in the room, she will say their entire name in a drawn-out manner with a low voice!. For example !. !. !. Jooohhhnnn Smmiiitthh!.

Is this possibly Tourette's!? She doesn't do the profanity, but she continually makes all kinds of odd little noises!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was going to say that tourettes!.
Possibly autistic, there are many stages to autism and sub symptoms, tourettes one of them !.
The more stress some of these people have he more "signs" can be seen!.

My autistic boys word for several years was "chicken", yelling it out at inappropriate times!.
Now he asks us "what are you watching", this term has many meanings for him!. I just woke up, I am tired, I am bored on and on!.

The repeating the name I think is a way for this person to recognize the person!. Mimicking is just something some people do to deal with stress!.

We have a parrot who happens to pick up what this boy of ours repeats, fun fun!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be tourettes!. Have you asked her why she does it!? If it is bothering you and others in your workplace she may need different accomidations for her condition!. If she is doing it for other reasons like attention or to be "the class clown" she may not realize that she is desturbing others!. If you are not comfortable confronting her take the matter to your boss and they may already know if it is a condition or not and will be able to take care of the situation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

=] haha Maybe it's just part of her personality!. There is this guy at work he will just randomly start meowing and i can't help but laugh at him!.!.!.
And now he mooo's when he see's mebecause of a question I asked him that delt with moo'ing (to make it our inside joke)
But Yeah I wouldnt worry I think it's just the personality!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
