Is there a word for a person who has multiple mental illnesses?!

Question: Is there a word for a person who has multiple mental illnesses!?
Answers:
No!. I'm a therapist!. Regardless of the diagnoses there's no special label for the person themselves!. You can have what's known as a co-morbid diagnosis, which is simply two diagnoses!. The other term used is dual diagnosis!. That means having a diagnosis of a mental health disorder and a substance abuse disorder!. Please note that these are words describing a condition (s), not a person!. We don't refer to people by their diagnos (es) in this field!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on what the diagnoses are!. There are some combined categories!. Actually very few people fit nicely into the diagnostic categories and multiple issues are very common!. What is important is how you feel, whether you are being treated (either medication and/or therapy) and whether it is helping!. The actual diagnosis is less important!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Perhaps duel diagnosis, or comorbid condition!. But neither of those are really official terms!. Just description!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
