Answers:
You have Type 1 emetophobia, which is usually linked with an underlying anxiety disorder!.

Type 1 emetophobia usually develops in childhood and is usually kept secret by the sufferer; who will sometimes develop very strict food-hygiene and dietary regimes!.

Most emetophobes rarely actually vomit!.

Successful treatment depends on proper psychiatric care, possibly combined with anti-anxiety medication!.

Talk to your doctor or psychiatrist about this and also ask him to talk to you about the emetic-method, which, some sufferers have found, successful in treating this disorder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that's clearly agoraphobia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have felt similar to what you are explaining!. It is anxiety and panick and can be very bothersome! I have learned that you need to find your way to calm yourself down through counseling!. I would suggest seeing a counselor or therapist, they see patients with the same symptoms and anxiety issues each and every day and are there to help you to overcome fears!. They will offer tips and books, as well as ideas on what could be the "primary" cause of your anxiety!. Many times the way you are feeling is from something else than the obvious!.
Things to help in the mean time might be to drink warm tea to relax yourself, listen to soothing music, self talk (tell yourself that when you are in a situation such as that, you will be able to talk yourself out of feeling upset, sick, or not wanting to be there), knit, crochet, read a book!.!.!.anything to keep your mind from letting you believe what the anxiety is telling you!.
It does take time and effort, and a counselor can most definitely help you the best, sometimes even better than just dealing with the issues alone!. There are also many books that you can find in bookstores as well as online on anxiety and panic attacks that will be a wonderful help to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't understand!.

If you're not afraid of throwing up, what are you afraid of!?

Feeling sick in public is no different from being sick at home!.

I could see being afraid of throwing up or having diarrhea or something, but just afraid of a stomach ache!?
Why!? What would happen!?

Anyway, I carry Dramamine with me at all times!. They sell it in very convenient little tubes that I keep in my pocket all the time!.
I suffer from migraines really bad which cause me to get nauseous and sometimes throw up, so i keep a few Dramamine, a couple ibuprofen and a couple Tylenol in there in case of a major migraine attack!.

You could keep a couple Dramamine and a couple anti-diarrhea medicine in there!. The Dramamine not only prevents me from puking but makes the nausea go away too!.
Also it really works pretty fast!. Sometimes one isn't enough and you have to take another one but usually one works wonders for me!. (just make sure you aren't drinking alcohol while taking Dramamine)

Anyway, you gotta figure out exactly what you're afraid will happen, then figure out what will prevent it from happening, or what can make you feel better if it does!.

good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
