Answers:
Definitely see a nurse or any counselor about your depression!. Depression is something schools take very seriously and will work with you 110% until you are better!. Confidentiality will be upheld among your peers, but be aware that your parents may have to be involved since you may still be a minor!. Do not be ashamed for being depressed, and do not feel that you are alone!. Many people know what you are going through, and I am not going to ask what it is!. Just know that you have conciously made the first step in the right direction of admitting you may have an issue with depression!. Once you get it off your chest you will be on the path to healing!.

If the school nurse for any reason does not take the time with you that you feel you deserve, or you feel that he/she may have ignored your request!.!.!.SEEK HELP ELSEWHERE! Make your next stop at a free clinic (they're not for druggies or the homeless)!. Free clinics are run by people who volunteer their time in assisting people with genuine problems, and they are trained to do exactly that!. They have psychiatrists and legitimate doctors on staff that are dedicated to help everyone, especially those without insurance!.

One answer you should NOT get from anyone is that "it's just a phase" or "you're too young"!. Those are red flags that people have no clue how to address depression!. Go find help, and if you are not close to a clinic call 1-800-448-3000!. That is the number for the Teen & Parent Crisis Hotline!. They will address your situation and guide you in the direction you need to go!. Give them a call anyways, they are FREE, and open 24/7!. Do not diagnose yourself!.!.!.let a trained professional take time with you to discuss your state of being!.

Good luck, and keep your chin up!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I work in the medical field and the school nurse has to honor the same confidentiality rules as physicians do!.

There are exceptions to every rule!.!.!.if you would tell the nurse that you were thinking of committing suicide, the nurse would have to report that to your parents!.

If you would tell the nurse that you robbed a bank or that you were thinking of harming someone else!.!.!.this is also something that the nurse would have to report!.

If you just want someone to talk to, the nurse would be a good choice!. She will recommend the best treatment for you and will encourage you to tell your parents about your depression!. Again, she can't directly tell anyone about your conversation unless you give permission to do so!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know your age or where you are, but I think that she should be able to keep it confidential!. If you are really worried, ask her before you tell her and she will tell you what kind of things she can keep confidential!. But even if other people know, don't be afraid!. It's nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about, you need help!. Hopefully if you get it sorted out while you are young, it won't be a problem for you later on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Speak to the nurse!. Tell her that you are concerned about confidentiallity!. However if she thinks that your problem could get worse she may have to notify your family!. It's good that you feel the need to speak to someone!. Depression can be a very lonely thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you talk to the nurse discuss your concerns with her!.
If you are worried she will tell someone, let her know this!.
It is very good that you are going to talk to her!. This is the first step to help yourself feel better!. Best Wishes to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's up to you! if you want to keep in confidential then let her know that you want it to be confidential!!! Don't be depressed!!! What ever it is just remember!.!.!.someone is going through a lot worse than you! Good luck though!.!.!.have God in your heart!Www@Answer-Health@Com

um good luck !Www@Answer-Health@Com

good for you! i'm sure they will be great help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
