Your Doctor is wrong: You are suffering from panic attacks and anxiety due to too much Stress;

What Is Stress!?
Stress is what you feel when you are worried or uncomfortable about something!. This worry in your mind can make your body feel bad!. You may feel angry, frustrated, scared, or afraid - which can give you a stomachache or a headache!.

When you're stressed you may not feel like sleeping or eating!. You also may feel cranky or have trouble paying attention at school and remembering things at home!.

What Causes Stress!?
Plenty of things can cause stress in a kid's life!. The trick is to remember that some types of stress are good and others are bad!. Good or normal stress might show up when you're called on in class or when you have to give a report!. Have you ever gotten butterflies in your stomach or sweaty hands!? Those can be signs of good stress - the kind of stress that can help you to get things done!. For example, you may do a better job on your book report if the anxiety inspires you to prepare well before you get up and read it to the class!.

But bad stress can happen if the stressful feelings keep going over time!. You may not feel well if your parents are fighting, if a family member is sick, if you're having problems at school, or if you're going through anything else that makes you upset every day!. That kind of stress isn't going to help you, and it can actually make you sick!.

Once you recognize that you're feeling stressed, there are several things you can do!. You can try talking about what's bothering you with an adult you trust, like a parent or teacher!. Bring up what's been on your mind and how it makes you feel!. An adult may have ideas about how to solve whatever is worrying you or making you uncomfortable!.

Anxiety Symptoms
Smothering sensations and Shortness of breath
Racing heart, slow heart beat, palpitations
Chest Pain
Nightmares
Sweating
Shaking
Weakness in arms & tingling in the hands or feet
Insomnia
Fears of going mad or losing control
Increased depression & suicidal feelings
Aggression
Symptoms like 'flu'
Distorted vision
Disturbed hearing
Hormone problems
Headaches
Sore eyes
Agoraphobia
Hallucinations
Creeping or pins and needles sensations in the skin
Increased sensitivity to light, sound, touch, and smell
Hyperactivity
Pain in the face or jaw
Derealisation and depersonalisation

Are You Too Busy!?
If you're feeling tired and stressed because you have too much going on in your life,, you might feel better if you drop something, even if it's just for a month or so!. Sometimes lots of activities - even if they're all fun - can make you feel stressed by keeping you busy all the time!. On the other hand, if problems at home are bugging you, some (but not too many!) some activities may actually help you relax and feel better!.

There are also relaxation exercises that you can use to get rid of stress!. The easiest one to do is to inhale (breathe in) slowly and deeply through your nose, and then exhale (breathe out) slowly through your mouth!. Do this two to four times, but don't take in too much air too quickly because it can make you feel lightheaded and dizzy!.

Another exercise can help you if you're having trouble sleeping: tense and relax your muscles slowly, starting at your toes and working your way up your body!. Tense and relax your toes!. Then do the same with your toes and your ankles!. Then, your toes, ankles, and calves!. Then toes, ankles, calves, and thighs!. Keep going up your body until you get to the top of your head! You can do exercises like these anytime, without anyone noticing!. You can even do breathing exercises in class if you're nervous before a test!.

Finding a Balance
The best way to keep stress away is to have a balanced life!. That means making good decisions about how to spend your time!. If you're only dealing with school stuff and have no time to play, you can get stressed!. Make sure you keep your SELF in mind: Sleep, Exercise, Leisure (something fun), and Food!. If you take care of yourself and get enough sleep and food, and if you exercise and leave time for fun stuff, you'll probably be less stressed out!

Your Doctor is wrong! you should see a psychiatrist or psychologist ASAP!.,without will get worse!. Stress that is not treated can lead to serious illness!.!. Stress may go on to develop significant medical illnesses or an anxiety disorder which in turn can lead to a "clinical depression"!. Untreated anxiety disorders can lead to serious depression!.
I am a living example of fighting medical illnesses, anxiety disorder, serious depression due to Untreated Stress and Panic Disorder!. It is bad ! You are not alone! Do something Now!Untreated Stress will develope Depression and Anxiety Disorders, and there is not cure, just medications and therapy for life!

Good luck

You need to go to the doctor as soon as possible, am not sure if your on some form of anxiety medication but I advise you see your doctor now its not asthma as I have asthma myself if anything you're breathing should be better standing up than lying down!.

If your doctor just tells you to not worry about it you must get a second opinion!. I can tell you for sure as an asthma sufferer myself this is not common

In my personal opinion, you answered it yourself and this is how your body is dealing with it!. You wrote this "The last few months i have had a lot of bad things happen to me, a lot of stress from work, home, and lately i've been dealing with a few health problems"!. That will definetly change your sleeping habits etc! I am kinda like you, I cant sleep worth jack and I am not happy with my life at all!. Try some sleep medications and see if that helps, you can get them over the counter!. If that doesnt work, talk with a psychiatrist, they can prescribe you something for anxiety or any other issue you may NOT see!. Perosnally, I just think its the way your body is reacting to the things that have happened to you latelyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Wow I'm sorry to hear this is happening to you!. I deal with anxiety and I have had issues with nightmares, sleep walking and talking in my sleep!. Like you I can usually deal with the anxiety!. If it gets bad it might help to take something like Zanex to take the edge off!. I have taken them in the past but I personally would rather not take medication because I believe it leads to other things!.!.!.but that is a whole different topic!.

When I start having sleeping problems it is usually when I am stressed and have a lot on my mind!. I know what you are going through and the nightmares alone are enough to give you anxiety! My dad is a recovering alcoholic and when he would relapse I would have bad dreams about him!. Then the next day when I would wake up I would be replaying the dream over and over again in my head and it is enough to drive you crazy!

I started reading about yoga and meditation and that seems to help!. It helps with a lot of things and I would strongly recommend it!. My husband bought me this book: Complete Guide to Pilates, Yoga, Meditation and Stress Relief (It's a Barnes & Noble book)!. Check it out! And good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hormones!. Even if your young as you go through the aging process sometimes they get wacky, don't count that out and you should have them ck'ed!. Take a walk in the evening (with someone) for about 45 mins!. STRESS, my boss is my son's ex-wife's best friend!. and my supervisor is also her best friend!. live in that for 8 hours a day!. Take on one issue at a time!. You'll figure it out!. Also, if you recently changed your room around change it back!. Believe it or not the position of your bedroom my not be right or you have brought something new into your home that bring you bad luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, it surely DOESN'T sound like asthma!. sounds like major stress!. I have dealt with anxiety my entire life ( I am 42), like you, nothing major, but, I take 5mg of Diazepam as needed, and it helps tremendously!. I also have had some health issues!. I happen to be peri-menopausal at this time, and have had the exact symptoms you describe!. Do not let any Doctor "dismiss" you're concerns, they may be serious!.
Have all of your blood work done, and you need to see a cardiologist, I am doing so this friday!. I have never had any heart problems, but, due to my symptoms, very much like yours, I was diagnosed with an arrhythmia, by my regular Doc, so, we need to look further into the cause!. Please have these tests done!. Could be anything, including depression!. If your current doc has no time for you, find one who does!. you have every right to get answers to your problems!. good luck, I hope everything turns out well for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chest pain could be a sign of Angina Pectoris usualy brought my high levels of stress but you said during chest pain you have difficulty breathing!. That's what you call dipsnea a good indication that you might be experiencing Myiocardiac (Heart Muscle) ischemia (due to lack of oxygen to the heart muscle!. Myiocardiac Infaction is a Hearth Attack which can bring fallowing signs and symptoms tightness of chesst, presure in the center of the chest, pain in the abdomen and Jaws, pain in the arms especially in the left arm, nausea, weakness, sweating, cool pale skin, dispnea( difficulty breathing)!. I recomend that you seek a second opinion and Pronto!. Cardiac Arrest is the number one killer in america for women than in man!. Do you smoke!? Do you Drink!? Have a Healthy Diet!? eating outside is no healthy diet!. Do you Drink sleeping pills!? if so Stop they can cause you to become anxious that is if you take more than recomended for me just take one sleeping pill!. Whach out for the chemical that Tylenol PM has that causes sleepyness!. More than a few of these pill can cause you anxietys!.

Well Thats what I think

Well I hope that I help you a littel bit but please understand that Angina Pectoris does not mean that you are having a Heart Attack and In combination with difficulty breathing you should definetly seek a second opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are going through a very tough time!. The first thing you need to do is get a doctor who has some compassion!. This one is doing you no good at all!.
Have a complete physical!. Insist on it!. You pay for medical insurance and it's your right!. I fall is clear, you may be suffering from a stress disorder!. See a good psychiatrist who can recommend a therapist and give you medication if needed!. This can be controlled if you get help, I know!.
For your own good, let go of the stresses that you don't need!.
Remember, what happened in the past is done and can't be changed!. Don't dwell on what happened or what should have happened!. Look forward and go forward!.
Best wishes to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
