Question: Seeking Help w/ Depression/Anxiety!?
I am 16 years old!. Over the past months, I have had continual feelings of despair and sadness, leaving me to be believe that I am at least somewhat depressed!. There have even been times when I've contemplated suicide!. I don't think I would actually ever do it, but the thoughts have been in my mind!. Also, I have been feeling insecure around people!. When I am with friends, I constantly are trying what to think to talk about with them!. Whenever I get together with them, I am neverous about what is going to happen; if we will breeze through conversations or if it will be ackward, which is what I fear!. This had led me to believe that I may have some anxiety issues!. I have been having some trouble with my parents and I am gay, but have told only a very few people!. I want to know what are the best steps for me to take!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Consult your family physician and share what you've so courageously shared here would be the best place to start!. Ask for a physical and ask to be referred to a therapist and/or good psychologist to help you cope through your anxiety/depression!. You are taking the right steps already by asking for help, that is great!.!.!.don't quit now!.!.!.keep going! Taking responsibility for your own state of despair and/or depression reveals you are able to handle responsibility for self!.!.!.bravo to you! It also shows you are not afraid of change which includes maturity!. Therefore!.!.!.remain absolutely committed to your therapy and/or appointments that is very important to achieve the security you want in yourself!. The sooner you address your concerns with your doctor and/or psychiatrist the sooner you will be relieved of all these anxieties!. You will discover your abilities and insecurities will fade in time!. Believe in yourself and be good to self!. Re-consider your diet and sleeping habits and make changes to promote good health on a regular schedule!. Poor eating habits can alter your mood/s as well as your sleeping habits!. wow dude, I'm 15!. I have just went through the SAMETHING dude!.!. you might think not, but yeah I know what your talking about with the Suicide thing and the parents and everything!.

Just look into God alot!.!.!. He always helps!. Take it easy in life and maybe go outside and exercise or just walk around or anything outside will help getting that air!. just kinda relieve yourself, empty your mind and take a breathe and then just let God in!.

Sounds weird!? beileve it!.
