Question: I am suffering anxiety even when I wake up I feel anxious!?
I feel cold in my feet!.!.I am taking venlafaxine at morning!.!. I have like 4 months!.!. I dont feel better!.!.!.I am taking sometimes clonazempa!.!. because doctor told me to do it!.!. but I have heard!.!. it's bad!.!. I don't know!.!. sorry for my bad english!.!. I want to feel better at night as well!.!. I can't sleep at nights sometimes!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, being scared is no fun!. Nobody likes to be scared when they would rather be sleeping or getting going in the morning!. Your anxiety is called the "Morning Ambush!." Even less convenient is the "3 A!.M!. Ambush!." That's when you wake up upset and try to get back to sleep and can't!.

For the three o'clock variety of anxiety, hot tea!. I usually get up, smile, relax and go with it!. I go downstairs, out into our kitchen and make myself a great cup of hot tea!. I use about two honeys in it!. I take it into our living room and sit back and enjoy it!. It really calms me down!. I stop taking the mood thing so personally, too!. It's almost like the tea helps to make it quit upsetting me!. I begin to get drowsy again and go back up to my bedroom and usually fall asleep in about ten minutes!.

The "Morning Ambush" is just a plain nuisance!. It just makes you feel edgy, crabby, cranky, scared and off-center, huh!. No fun at all!. I have two solutions which work for me!. The reason we get anxious is because we temporarily lose control of things!. It is that vague feeling that something is wrong, somehow - which needs to be addressed!.

I have two ways to handle this!. One is to put on my sneakers and go back down into the park behind our home, grab a small tree by its trunk, give it a hard squeeze and cry for a few minutes while I feel my energy flowing out of my body, down the tree trunk and into the earth!. It is called "earthing" your anxiety!. It is a great release, too, like crying is!. A real safety valve!. And it works, too!. You start feeling better almost at once!. Partly because you're out of the house and outside, taking in new sense impressions and crowding out all the fear feelings, replacing them wth the fresh smells of morning, new sights, maybe some birds, somebody's flower garden, whatever - but anything to get your mind off being scared!.

Anxiety usually can also be controlled by sticking to your usual routines!. I just set the table, feed the cats, grab the morning paper out of the front door, turn on the telly to catch the morning news, you know - everything I would do if I were in my right mind!. Apparently, eventually our brains get the message and think, "Oh, so there's nothing really to be afraid of, after all!?" And our brains begin to quit sending all the freak out messages and the scary feelings and every other nuisance which upsets us because it is false!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anxiety is a condition where you have trained your mind to worry!. It's exactly the same as kids learning in school!. Once they have learnt a subject, they instantly know it!. Anxiety is the same!. You've taught your mind to worry!.
Everyone can tell you what to do, but unless they have been through it, they will have no idea what you are going through!.
Exercise is the key!. Find out about a yoga class!. You would benefit from the way they train the mind to relax!. The exercise will help you sleep!.
If at night you can't sleep!. Do not sleep during the day no matter how tired you are!. Keep that up and eventually one night you will sleep well!.
Venlafaxine is there to help you, but you must also help yourself!. Anxiety is a condition that can be alleviated by medication, but above all else, exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How long have you been taking the venlafaxine!? It is important to report back to your doctor and tell him how you feel on your medications!. Discuss the effects of the medication with a pharmacist also!. Medication can be adjusted or changed!.

There are other tests (bloodwork) that can be done for physical symptoms, such as if you are always thirsty and have to go to the bathroom a lot!.

The others have given you some ideas on nutrition, exercise and relaxation techniques!. Your physician can follow up on this too and refer you to professionals who can assist you, and who will be there for you in future!.

Anxiety do not last very long and improves steadily over time!. If you have concerns consult your doctor on continous usage of drugs!.
The best thing you can do is have self care for your type of illness!.!.!.!.you can take this as a disorder of mind even in some cases!.

Regular physical activity can improve health and reduce the risk!. More importantly it reduces feelings of depression and anxiety,

yea, they give you a pill but you might have anxiety because your body is missing nutrients it needs!.!.!. what's your diet like, are you getting enough sunlight, do you take a multivitamin, do you get enough exercise!? do you get enough omega 3 oils (found in fish, walnuts, flaxseed, etc!.!.) - if you don't get enough omega3 oils you can get very anxious and you won't know why!. try a few walnuts and see if you calm down some!.!.!.!.

you are taking all these pills and the solution might not even be a pill - it makes me mad that these doctors are just into pushing pills!.

turn off the tv/computer at night before you go to bed!. this can interfere with your sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to tell your doctor that you do not feel any better!. the medication sounds like it is not for you!. After 4 months if the meds!. were going to help you would have felt better by now!. It usually take 2 weeks for you to see results!. Ask your doctor about taking Seroquel or Desyral (i don't think I spelled the last one correct) and see if it helps!. Look on www!.webmd!.com to read up on these meds!. I took Clonaplin for a while, but they took me off because it has long acting effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Constant anxiety can sometimes be a thyroid disorder!. Ask your doctor to check your lab with a TSH and a FREE T4 test!. If it is your thyroid not functioning properly, it can be easily corrected with medication, and you would not have to use any other meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, and also take meds, they take time to work, and find what works for you!. i also had most of my anxiety in the morning!. it was horrible, i would take xanax first thing, and i couldn't lie and bed because my mind would race!. try to keep very busy when you wake up or go walking in the morning!. try to burn off the anxiousness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, I'm here to help you as I'm a sufferer of panic attacks for 12 years!.

The reason why you have the anxiety for so many mornings is because you just kept on thinking about it!. My site has given a few tips on breaking the pattern but I will give you a few new ones!.

You can try hypnosis but day-dreaming is the best!. I want you to go to a quiet place/area which you're comfortable!. Lie in a comfortable position and visualize!. Imagine you're in the place you always love to be (a warm tropical island with the beautiful clean ocean - you're able to see beautiful fishes swimming)!. Imagine you're with your love-one, holding hands and walking on the shores of the ocean!. Your feet feels the warm crispy sands with every step you take; you hear coconut trees swaying peacefully; your love-one holds you on the back of your neck and caresses you!. Imagine very deeply and make it feel so real!. You can further visualize on how you want it!.!.!. sipping champagne as you stare at the end of the horizon of the ocean!.!.!.

Once you feel relaxed, imagine how life would be so beautiful if you're right there now!. Why not set that as a goal!? Work for it - everything is possible!. What man has made is possible to attain!

I have horrible anxiety problems, too!. ^^; But I don't take any medication!.!. try focusing on comfort!. If you have a mother, father, girlfriend, boyfriend, best friend or animal they should make you feel better!. Do things you enjoy!.!.!. slow yourself down, try relaxing, force yourself if you have to!. Breathing exercises do help, and that little thing where you say "I am relaxed!.!.!. I will be relaxed!.!.!. reeelaxxx!." Listen to soothing music, (this may help at night) or do things to divert your focus from the anxiety!. Stay in areas you are familiar with, and always, always feel safe and comfortable, and not stressed! this will keep your anxiety down!.!.!.
