Your problem can be summed up easily!. You are 16!.!.!. it is perfectly normal for your feelings to be "all over the map"!. You may have already had your "visit from aunt flo" this month, but at your age, your hormones continue to rage and change at a maddening pace!.
You are a woman in a still growing body and your mind, hormones, and everything else involved is struggling to keep up!.
Especially since you are obviously an advanced student, going to college at 16, you may be excited, and you are obviously intelligent and bright, but it's ok to admit that this is a lot for you to handle all at one time!. People try to go along in their lives, not letting other people know that they are feeling stress, but since everyone feels it, why do we hide it!?

You are NOT unimportant or worthless and obviously, you are not unintelligent!. People will like you in college if you just be yourself!.

How to get into a better frame of mind!? Relax and stop worrying about it! This is a great time for you! You get to learn new wonderful things, you said it yourself!. Concentrate on the good things!. If you haven't already, get yourself a journal and start writing in it!. RESIST the tempation that a lot of 16 year olds have to start writing page after page of why they are worthless and miserable - you'll only look at it in the future and realize what a waste of time it was!.!.!. When you have that temptation come over you, STOP and list all of the good things that you have going for you!.

Going to college (can afford to go to college, whether with a grant, loan, parents, whatever!.!.!.)
family, friends!.!.!.
a good test score!.!.!.
Whatever is good!.!.!.
The one or two bad things, no matter how bad they may feel should not outweigh all of the wonderful things a beautiful, intelligent 16 year old should be feeling at the beginning of her fantastic new life!

ENJOY THIS TIME OF YOUR LIFE! It's something you'll always remember! (and keep that journal!.!.!. I didn't and I'm sorry to this day!)
Best of luck to you in college!.!.!. and in life!Www@Answer-Health@Com
