I had a friend at uni who told me that whenever she told a story about a man who went parachuting for his fortieth birthday (his entire family came to watch) and the parachute didn't work and he fell to his death, she would laugh hysterically and wouldn't stop for ages!. It was so bad that she could barely talk!.

She was laughing like that when she told me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have come across this before with people I know!. Its more common than you think!. One person I know explains the situaltion as an apology afterwards, one lets everyone know beforehand as part of his introductory speech, some just say nothing and hope no-one notices when it happens!.

Awareness is good - at least people can know what's hapening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's called a hysterical laugh!. It happens to me, too!. When I'm really really sad, I start laughing!. A week ago my friends dad died!. At his funeral, I felt the need to laugh, even though I was very sad!. I don't think there is any way to stop this!.

Good luck,
