How do you get off cannabis alone?!


Question: How do you get off cannabis alone!?
Really want to quit smoking, i wouldnt say i was a big smoker but its becoming a daily routine for me now and i dont want to get to the point where i am apsoloutly dependant on it!. I already feel as if i need it each day, after work - when ever things get tough!.!.!. Is it possible to just stop smoking it!? Iv been starting and stopping with the drug since i was about 13 really and im now 20!. please help me, people with previous expereinces x xWww@Answer-Health@Com

I smoked cannabis for 30 years of my life!. When I stopped I just stopped!. It is not the same as quitting cigarette smoking, there is no real craving for cannabis!. You will feel as though you are 'missing it' in the same way you might miss going out every saturday night but though injury you are unable to go out on a saturday night!. The sensation will pass within a couple of weeks and only manifest itself when you are bored!. I think you must be aware that cannabis keeps boredom are bay, that's one of the problems you will have to deal with!. Another problem is you might have difficulty in sleeping, that will pass bit by bit over a period of a month!. A third problem and probably the worst of them all is you will start to dream!. These dreams will be in colour and weird, they may even scare the living daylights out of you!. The dreams will be so realistic that you may feel as though you are awake and it is actually happening!. If you think something is happen for real then ask yourself "Am I blinking!?", you don't blink when you are asleep!. Your eyeballs are kept moist through rapid eye movement when you are asleep - it stops you eyeballs sticking to you eyelids!.

Quitting cannabis is (from my point of view) best described as annoying, don't let that get to you and you will be alright!.

If sometime in the future you find youself around a friend's house and they offer you a joint then smoke it if you wish!. You may well feel guitly about the fact that you have none to share, you will not start to carve the drug the next day!.

I sincerely hope that anything I have written hasn't put you off quitting!. Please tell me how you get on if you don't mind!.

what the hell is cannabis!? you mean weed!? lol

do you really smoke weed because everyone i know that does, dosent call it "cannabis" they call it weed, hippie lettuce, sticky icky, wacky tabacky, purple urple, chronic, white widow, blueberry, black widow, etc!.

but if you do, then you know it can be hard to quit, i had times where i couldn't sleep because i keeped thinking i had to get some then and there!. I've quit for 5 years and don't think i want to do it again!. waisted so much money on it and lost friends, and the truth of my family after they caught me!.

its just not worth it, graduated late in high school from all the parting, got arrested with possession and had to go to Judi, lost so many brain cells (you cant grow them back) and now i feel like I'm high all day because everything in my life feels like a dream!.!.no lie!.

wish i could take it back!. just ask yourself if its really worth it!.!.!.are you really happy doing it!? most of my friends i smoked with all into cocaine and Christal meth!.!.!.it IS a gateway drugWww@Answer-Health@Com

its really hard to get off it on your own!.!. do any of your friends know!.!. maybe sharing it with them!.!. well maybe you should get rid of all the cannabis at your home so your not tempted!.!. and stay away from where you get it from!.!. you should try to get cravings for something else like chocolate or something you like!.!. whenever you get cravings eat or do something to take your mind off it!.!. hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Find an alternative means of getting high- for me it was exercise!. I work out in the gym or cycle and I get a natural high from endorphines and gradually your craving for artificial highs diminishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just decide when you are going to stop and stick to it!.Much easier to give up than tobacco!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
