Do I have "reading" OCD?!

Question: Do I have "reading" OCD!?
I think that when I read, I get OCD--Obsessive Compulsive Disorder--and here's why: Sometimes, when I read, it takes me from 10-15 minutes to finish a page, and sometimes longer! I don't know what's gotten into me; I'm usually a good/fast reader! While I'm reading, I feel obliged to reading a certain material off a page over and over again!. Even though it's already sunk in, and I can probably say that certain portion off the top of my head without looking at the text, I read it anyway! When I move on, I feel as if I should go back and read the paragraph over again, and possibly even go back even farther in the book, just so it's sunk in!. When I force myself to move on, I get over-obsessed and go back to read it anyway!.!.!. It's so frustrating! Does this even make sense!?! I don't know what the hell's gotten into me! =/

If you have an idea of what I'm trying to say, please help! How can I overcome this problem!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is just the way OCD is, it's your brain misfiring and causing the thoughts to get stuck in your brain then to stop the thoughts compulsions happen to stop the thoughts-that's why people will repeat behavior!. A therapist can help you to deal with this!.

OCD is not your fault-it's just the brain misfiring, many professionals have this!. My daughter just got diagnosed, and yes she does this too-feeling the need to reread although she knows that she already has-not sure of her self because of her thoughts-she does it again!. Find books on the subject, get therapy!. You may realize you have had it longer than you knew!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to read things over and over again too!. Go to the Doctors before it starts affecting other areas of your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
