I remember I used to be a hypochondriac last year and I had panic attacks for like 2 or more months straight!. It was terrible!. My heart would constantly be going fast with a pulse of like 100+ i remember sometimes it was 138 during my panic attacks it was terrible and scared me and i thought i was going to have a heart attack or something!. But of course every panic attack passed and I was okay afterwards!. You see, what used to cause the panic attacks is that I had these muscle spasms that I used to get because I got a side effect from a pill I took!. I thought they were a little excessive so I looked up online and I thought I had just about every neurological disease!. I couldnt convince myself that I didnt have these things and I kept wanting to go to a doctor!. Eventually I realized that I was foolish for thinking about all this things and I slowly snapped out of it and decidedto just live my life out happy!. If youre like me, stop lookking up disease on the internet!. Refuse all temptation to do so!! Dont look up diseases in the health encyclopedias!. Just cut off your knowledge of these things!. You will not die from panic attacks !. Nobody ever has !. Just try to get your mind off it as much as possible and try not to drift back into thinking about it again!. Hopefully you get the jist of what im trying to say!. Good luck! I got out of it! You can too!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm so sorry that you are having this difficult experience!
Please find a mental health professional, psychiatrist or psychologist, who can help!. There are many ways to help you; some involve talking through your fears, some involve facing those fears, and some include medication!. The bottom line is that no one needs to live with such intense feelings of fear and anxiety!. If you need help in finding a mental health professional in your area, you can either go to your local community mental health center or ask your primary care physician for a referral!. Keep looking until you find the doctor who can help you feel better!. Many, many people experience what you describe, but all can be helped to live a more balanced and anxiety free life!. I know, I've been there!
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have an anxiety disorder too, i first started getting really nervous when i was about 11, and now im 16 (ha i know, nothing compared to you) but anyway's i took zoloft when i was 11 for about 2 years, but then i stopped because i thought i was getting better!. i just started taking it a year ago again and i feel great!. i used to worry everyday that i was going to die or something was going to happen to me, but now i dont feel that at all, i'm not afraid anymore then i used to be!. if i were you, i would just try zoloft, it wont hurt you at all!. i love not being afraid anymore =D it doesnt change you're life it just takes the "static" out of it-thats what my doctor saidWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hello, I am a Clinical Social Worker!. My professional advice to you is not to get medication from your PCP!. It would be more appropriate if you saw a Therapist to talk and work through your anxiety and fear of death with and a psychiatrist to manage your medication!. The reason that I suggest seeing a specialist is because anti-anxiety meds (benzodiazipines) like Ativan, Valium, Xanax are highly addictive and need to be closely monitored by a psychaitrist!. I work with addicts and you would be surprised who easily it is to become addicted to these meds when you are only seeing a PCP!. The fact that you are loosing weight is also a "red flag" that something isn't right!. If you continue to have intense anxiety, go to your local emergency room and ask for a psychiatric evaluation!. The ER will assess you, possibly medicate you and get you the next level of care which could be inpatient or outpatient care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
