What side effects to Seroquel can people not tolerate, but please, not the sleep!
Question: What side effects to Seroquel can people not tolerate, but please, not the sleepiness/hungover one!.!?
I take Seroquel only for sleep, because the thyroid med and lamictal make sleep very difficult for me!. I only take 25 mgs!. I know it knocks you out and you stay hung-over and I will accept those!. I know it makes you gain weight!. At 25 mgs, it has not been a major problem for me!. I am mostly concerned about headache side effects!. I already have migraine, but it had been under control with Inderal!. I thought the increase in severity and frequency of my headaches was the Lamictal!. But I now stopped it, and the headaches (and Seroquel) are still there!. When I have a very severe migraine, I take 50 mgs of Seroquel to sleep all day!. Could that be making the headaches worse!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

"Common side effects include constipation, HEADACHE, dry mouth, weight gain (or loss)!. Less common side effects (less than 1% of patients) include abnormal liver tests, dizziness, upset stomach, substantial weight gain or weight loss, a stuffy nose, akathisia and increased paranoia!."Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's possible, but I would check with your Dr!. If you just started Seroquel, sometimes it takes a little while to get used to it!. I take Trazodone to sleep and sometimes I have trouble waking up, but I have adjusted to it and tend to take it earlier in the evening if I have to get up early!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
