Does working out increase anxiety?!
Question: Does working out increase anxiety!?
like lifting weights!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
As the others said, exercise of all kinds is supposed to help depression/anxiety, and it does for me!.
The only thing I can think of is, are you working out at an athletic club, or some kind of social atmosphere!? I know some people feel anxiety at athletic clubs, wondering how they look, if they're being judged, what that cute lady/guy across the room is thinking, or just general feeling inadequate, etc!.
Maybe this is totally off the mark, but it's something to think about!. If this makes sense to you, maybe adjust your schedule to go when the place is not as busy, or move the operation to your home, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not unless you are lifting another person, and in that case it would increase their anxiety and not your!. :)
But seriously, working out as others have said should be make you feel better!. If you are lifting weights only an hour or two before bed you may find it difficult to sleep and that may increase your anxiety!.
For what it's worth too much caffeine could increase anxiety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
