Is there a term for this behavior?!

Is there some kind of terms for this!? My friend has been behaving strangely and is starting to get crazy eyes!. He's nice to strangers, really nice, but to people he knows like his family, I think he is mean and he is starting to be mean to some people at work, the ones that work close to him, but not the ones who are outside his team!. He does stuff like this:

* Project all the bad things he does at work onto another co-worker in the unit!.

* Gets fussy and complaints there is not enough direction on a project and when given more direction, complaints that people are bossing him around!.

* Is insulted when someone ranked lower than him in seniority was asked to take over his duties because he was not getting them done!.

* insinuated that persons work was inadequate when it was clearly much better than his proposals!.

* Claims to have a handle on projects when clearly he made some fatal juvenile errors and refuses to accept responsibility for it!.
