I agree with Cate; your mom should consult another doctor and have bloodwork done just to be sure it is in fact hormonal!.
The doctor will then have to establish the proprer medication for these attacks!. And yes, she will most most probably require mediction, or at least something to take when she feels an attack come on!.

I have been through this, I am going through it still now and it is a very scary feeling!. The sad part is that the family suffers too!. At least now, they know what is going on and they better understand how to cope, they watch out for me!.

It's unfortunate and sad that you are left to handle such a difficult situation, and please don't be too hard on your brother, not all of us handle stress situations in the same way!.!.!.some run in the opposite direction:)!.

If you have any questions and need some information, I'm not a doctor but like I said, I know exactly what your mom (and you) are going through, so please feel free to write me!.

Take good care of yourself too, and God bless you for your tender caring of your mother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im not in a similar situation but i have had panic attacks since i was 14 now im 31 !.!.!. it is very difficult to deal with !.!.

the best thing you can do for youre mom is calmly stand by her when she is having an attack basically keep doing what you are doing !.!.!. thats really the only thing you can do for her directly except try to distract her by talking about another subject try to make her laugh just something to distract her !.!.

stand by her a reassure her that no matter howbad it gets you will be there for her !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your mom needs to see a different doctor!. Anxiety attacks can be hormonal but they can also be caused by anything from vitamin deficiency to food allergies!. 39 is a bit young to be experiencing hormonal changes due to menopause but not out of the question!. Please encourage her to seek help elsewhere until she gets the right answers!. Hang in there, sweetie and don't stress!. This will all work out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I've seen a lot of people go through this!. I would call those panic attacks because they are more severe than anxiety attacks!. The doctor should've put her on medication!. If it's making you anxious, then you're not helping properly!. You have to help in a way that alleviates the feeling of doom!. Hey, there's nothing wrong!. The feeling will pass!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Too much stress!. Check her blood sugar!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i been have those attacks my self for the pass three months and i got the same way cool hands, dry mouth, choking feeling, muscles tensions, and ended up in the hospital!.and they told me it was a panic attack!. sometimes i feel anxiuos but not panicy and stuff!.but i steal dont go to places were i could have one!. and i sometimes dont go out for weeks!.so just be with her when u can dont live her alone !. tell her to take deep breathe hold them for 10 seconds ya she is not alone good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
