Many years ago it worked very well for me, but don't expect to notice anything for a couple of weeks!. After a month or so, provided the dosage is enough for you, you should start feeling more positive about your life and circumstances!. If not you could have the dose increased by your doctor!.

Although Prozac has had its share of bad press, there are few if any side effects or bad reactions for most people!. Prozac is definitely NOT addictive!.

Continue taking it under doctor's orders!. Taking an extra tablet as an instant 'boost' when you think you need it doesn't work!.

When you are 'back on your feet', and it may take several months or longer, you can start reducing the dose until you stop taking it completely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Different antidepressants work differently in people!. However, Prozac has not been shown to be addictive, but it can have some side effects--usually dry mouth, headaches, or sexual side effects!. The first few days on a new dose, you may find that you have headaches or nausea, but that should pass after 2-3 days on the medication!. It will take at least 6 weeks for the meds to really build up in your system, so give it at least that long before you stop!. Oh, and don't just stop taking it, because that can lead to side effects as well!.!.!.your doctor can help you taper it when you're ready to discontinue it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

prozac have been around a long time & should have been disscontinued a long time ago, they will often make a person worse than they were before starting medication for depression etc, many people have noticed the adverse affect from them & its not good, id understand going from them to zoloft but better is cipramil 20mg once a day as its a faster acting drug that helps faster & usually within a week or so rather than 6 weeks like prozac, my advice is get off them as soon as you can & try cipramil, see another dr if this one wont help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been using it for a couple of years now and have had no problems!. No weight gain or mood swings!. I took about a month for it to build up in my system, but after that it's been smooth sailing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take Prozac for my clinical depression and it's done wonders for me!. It's not addictive and since I started taking it about 2 years ago I've had no noticeable side effects (except for feeling way better)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Prozac is highly addictive!. If you can avoid using it!. Then do!.
My mother used it and gained lots of weight, AND had severe mood swings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
