Why do I lose my appetite when I have relationship problems?!


Question: Why do I lose my appetite when I have relationship problems!?
Every time I have a fight with my boyfriend, or I think he's angry with me, or he doesn't want to see me, I completely lose my appetite!. I can't look at food, even though my stomach feels so empty!.

I thought most girls/women want to eat everything in sight when this happens!. Is it normal to want to eat or to lose your appetite!?

Also, when I am stressed I lose my appetite!. My friends say they want to eat more when they are stressed!. A couple years ago I moved to a different state when I didn't really want to and ended up losing like 20 lbs (which I have kept off since then) from the stress of moving and looking for work, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i lose my appetite when im stressed out, depressed, overly happy or excited!. it's different for everyone!. some people eat when they are stressed because they use food as a comfort thing!. i think its better to not be able to eat then over eat!. the reason you dont eat is because when you stress, it produces extra acid in your stomach!. stress is one of the major causes of acid reflux!. when im stressed my stomach gets upset but i feel hungry but anything i eat kinda clumps up in my mouth and i cant chew it and spit it out!. drink a full glass of water to make your stomach feel full!. then try eating just a slice of bread!. the bread will absorb the acid in your stomach!. well thats what works for me anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a normal reaction!. The fear of losing your boyfriend puts your stomach in knots (even if you don't feel them)!. You are just too consumed to think about food or even care about food!. Most people don't eat well or enough when under a lot of stress, but most people eat out of boredom or because they are not fulfilled!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Being upset causes you to somehow not care so much about other things besides what is happening!. It is just another form of 'holding your breath'!.
I had such a crap time in 7th grade that I became anorexic and lost 30 lbs!.

Some women over-eat or lose their appetite!. You just happen to be a non-eater!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm the same way!. I have absolutely no appetite when I am stressed!. I guess it's because the stress somewhat consumes you!. It's the only thing that is on your mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It works both ways, some people eat when stressed, and some don't!. I think I maintain a normal eating pattern, I just have the tendency to clean a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its because when y r in stress or any other problem then ur mind thinks about the problem and it forgets about eating!. anyhow if u remember & start eating then u will overeat as u will not remember when to stop or u wil not realize that ur stomach has been filledWww@Answer-Health@Com
