Everyone is different but if it's for a group activity, why don't you ask those in that particular group you are working with!?!.!.!. what they would like best!. What are their favorite games to play and things to do and then they can vote together on it for themselves a few favorites and make a schedule that includes a little something for everyone!.

Card games, Bingo nite, majong, fun arts and crafts they can make and even sell at a little fair or picnic or something, story and joke telling contests haha though more physical games are needed to help keep circulation going so I think a little dance contest, cane sword fights (and everybody gets a little cape and mask, even the ladies)!. Good thing I don''t work in the field cuz I would let them have naked Twister games or strip Bingo if they wished for I figure it is their time and money, but life just don't work that way and I imagine I would have dementia too at any age if after living a whole lifetime taking care of others, those people turn around and haha!. Woops, neva mind my dear!.

Best of luck to you and yours, and may the farce be with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My grandmother (she is 88) has dementia so I really do understand your desire to find things to help with memory!.

One thing she really enjoys doing is rolling pine cones in peanut butter with birdseed and then hanging them up so birds can eat them!. She calls me every day telling me about all the different kinds of birds she has seen and I even got her a bird book so she could classify the ones she has seen!. To enhance memory, reminding them of birds and asking them to recall them is a good task!.

We count seeds by 2's, 5's, and 10's as we go!.!.!.this helps with memory as well!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

FreeRice is a site that tests your memory with words!. Every time you get a word right you also donate rice to poor countries!. Scrabble, chess, card games, crosswords & word searches which also print in large font for older people, perhaps even books about facts & at the end they have a quiz to test if you know they, true and false games!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
