Seriosly, it's kinda takin a toll on me at this point!. I'm a 20 yr old male, and it seems like everytime I got close to a girl, things just spontaneously happen to ruin it!. My best (girl) friend just isn't talkin to me right now, and we were so close a couple weeks ago!.
Now grant it, I was upset with her, and it all had to do with her ex, and why she continues to (he treats her like dirt by the way) allow herself to be treated like that, when she's a treasure!. It seems like I only put a strain on our friendship with this, forget potential relationship at this point!.

Unfortunately, in emotionally abusive relationships, there is nothing you can do to stop it!. There is something about her ex that she must still love, or maybe has convinced herself she needs it!. This is hard for her to handle, and she may be in denial that he is treating her wrong because she has feelings for him!. This is probably why she is avoiding you now!. You didn't do anything wrong!. Try telling her how you feel, and that you will always be there for her, and that it hurts you that you aren't talking!. I'm sure she appreciates you, but can't right now because she is having trouble with her ex!. It may be severely hurting her self-esteem, and therefore, only deepening her "need" for his crap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It has nothing to do with you!. She is in a abusive relationship and probably knows she should end it!. Males will give the girl some need to stay!. This may be money, social status, food, etc!. When women are in abusive relationships, mentally especially - they have to go through it and get all by themselves!. And anybody who tells her to leave him she's going to leave!. Just be there for her to talk to and bite your tongue!. She has to realize that she's better than his ways all by herself!. and she will!. But unless you think her life is in danger just be her friend!. And after she's done with him you can swoop in as her knight in shining armor!. So just go apologize about whatever you said about her boyfriend and if you really like her just see her through this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
