Question: Coming off Celexa!?
I recently quit taking my Celexa, weaned myself off slowly, because I will not have insurance anymore!. I have been extremely moody, not pms-related, and i can just cry for no reason, i get so mad at my bf i raised my voice actually yelled at him and i have NEVER done this, I feel like i'm going crazy!.!.!.Is this just an affect of going off the celexa or am I imagining thingslol !? And when or will I ever be back to nice normal self!? I also have been having weird dizzy/lightheaded spells!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor knows best on how to wean you off of this medicine!. Ask him!. It is so unfortunate that doctors have no problems about the addictiveness of narcotics and the like but they give no hint at all as to the withdrawal symptoms of anti depressives!. I have experienced the withdrawal from Zoloft and would not wish it on an enemy!. Call your doctor or go to the emergency room if you still have insurance!. No one should have to experience this kind mental agony!. Assure your bf that these are the symptoms of your withdrawal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is normal!. Its' scary but normal!. Typically you want a Dr!. to titrate you off the medication!. But, you can get the generic version of Celexa called Citalopram which works just as well from Walmart for $4!.00 a script!. So, even without insurance, its still very affordable!.
