Can you do mental health nursing if you have mental health problems?!
Question: Can you do mental health nursing if you have mental health problems!?
Answers:
Having a mental health problem should not in itself bar you from training!.
But it will depend on whether you are able to keep up with the demands of the course and complete all the required placements etc!. So if you have an on-going mental health problem it will depend on how well it is controlled and your ability to maintain an adequate employment record!. If you require long periods off sick, it just may not work out!.
