Im Not A Happy Person To Say The Least I Sit Around In My Basement Doing Nothing When i Do Get Out With "Friends" I Pretend To Have Fun But Really Dont, I Dont Smile Unless I actully Have A Reason To!. I Hate Talking To Family And Recently Started Cutting!. I Dont Know Whats Wrong With Me My Parents Are Very Much In Love i Dont Have Family Troubles But I Still Feel Down And Depressed, Its Been Like This For A Couple Months, I Cant Talk To My Parents For The Simple Fact The Less They Know The Less They Hurt My Friends Try To Be There For Me But I Only Push them Away!. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MEWww@Answer-Health@Com

this sounds a bit like "depression of success", please do not misunderstand!. someone who has all, his parents are happy, all outer life is settled, enough food, shelter, money, friends, but after a while this all feels shallow and empty, no purpose in it, no point to it, no joy is derived from all the stuff anymore!. there comes a point where one sees that all the things that promise to fulfill us in life cannot fulfill this job anymore!. then it is time to look for the treasures within!.
this empty feeling inside, this depression comes from seeing that none of the outer world theatre, drama, all the nice fairy tales and self-lies do not help, do not work in finding hapiness and fulfillment or at least a sense in life!.
it is the hunger, the yearning to feel yourself, to feel intensity in life!. all is just boring, shallow!.
it is all about intensity, aliveness!. little children can play with the same toy in 100 various ways and never get bored or tired of it, but the grown ups, once they have achieved the goal or purchased the desired object its loses its appeal, its fascination!.
it is not the quantity of things in the outside, but the quality of awareness with which we can honour and value it, the quality of relating to the world and the people with an open heart right here right now in the present moment, not running already towaards the next goal in mind, but being fully here and now and content!. this is what children can do, and what they forget after being conditioned long enough by social expectations/patterns!.
there is nothing wrong with you!.
in fact, youa re very wise to see, to come to the point where you detect that all this worldly life is shallow and that you still haven't found yourself in this world yet!. we have many ideas about ourselves, many images, personality development and stuff, but we haven't yet tasted the juice of our being!.
it is all about feeling yourself!. this is what cutting is about, to feel yourself, to feel inensity and aliveness!. but in cutting the body, you only cut your flesh, but you are much more, youa re the consicousness that gives life to this body!. look for the juiciness in life by going within and find out who you truly are!.
all that can be lost is not worth having, all that you can see, touch, know is not you!. you are not the body, the body is a temporal physical expression of the beingness that youa re and it is the beloved servant, together with the mind to give you the possibility to self realization!.

otherwise i wish you all the best!. have been to this point myself, fed up with all, all boring, no aliveness in anything anymore, nothing interesting anymore, feels like the end!. and then thinking: but i have all i need, i have all that the ads in tv propagate that it should be the ultimate bliss, but it is not there, what is wrong with me!?!?!?!?
nothing is wrong, only youa re a wise being that is at the verge to discover something great: the treasures inside that are yet here to discover!. the outside is all well fixed now, now look for yourself!. who are you truly, without relating to all that is outside!.!.!.

Advice to see a professional is always good!. Next, see if something is missing from your diet, For instance, thyroid levels (iodine) can cause depression, as well as adrenal weakness, etc!. It can also be something excessive in your diet, like too much sugar, artificial sweeteners, and acidic foods 9carbonated beverages, etc!.) Exercise has been shown to have as positive an effect on mood as most medications, but again, you can do both!. I understand & have been there!. Please, talk with someone!. There are depressions that are brought on by a chemical imbalance & medication may help, but you will never know till you talk with a psychiatrist & find out!. It's difficult I know to even feel motivated to even want to feel better, but just one step of sharing with someone you trust can get the process started for you!. Please, please, talk with someone, you really do not need to walk alone, but you do have to take the first step!.
