Lashing Out: My problem as of late.?!


Question: Lashing Out: My problem as of late!.!?
A month or so ago i went through a bad depression type thing!. I was constantly angry or sad, i cut myself, and all this other stupid stuff, in retrospect!.
I've been better lately though! Smiling, friendly, I even talk to people! lol!. Seriously I've felt fine!.
But at random times I'll just lash out and someone who cares about me!. Or other people that I could blame for!.!.!.anything!.
I used to be really mellow!. Nice to everyone and i thought i was back to that!. I'm not really sure!.
since my mom found out I cut she's been really hanging over me and trying extra hard!. And i try so hard to let her because I know it makes her feel better!. But i just get mad, then guilty!.
Same with my friends who know i havent been normal!. I feel like an unthankful teenager!.

Don't worry, it is all normal!. Adolescence is complicated, especially for intelligent people (I am assuming you are by your vocabulary and lack of ridiculous short forms)!. Just try not to do it whenever you possibly can, beleive me your friends and parents will appreciate the effort!.

But it hard to see people looking at you with concern when you feel so much better and it can be very frustrating!. And it is so easy to lash out at the people who you know will continue to be there for you!. Give yourself a break!.

A good idea might also be to start writing or drawing or something like it, it is an excellent way to get your frustration out in a way that won't make you feel guilty or hurt your friends and family!.

one thing you might try is, instead of suppressing anger and rage you could talk to someone you trust and "let out some steam!." just talking to someone is a big help!. if you suddenly feel the urge to "snap" and "lash-out" at someone just stop, think, and solve the problem in a calm manner!. breathing exercises can help to calm you!. as far as depression just do the things that make you happy!. laugh a lot and hang out with funny, happy people!. get out and have some fun!. laughing releases endorphins which make you happy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say you should talk to your doctor about what is going on with you, or it might help to go and talk to a counselor!. I would try and work it out before going on any meds though!. After talking to a doctor they might say you need that, but it is good to try and just talk about it and figure things out that way first!. Think about the things you have changed, have you been getting enough sleep, eating habits change at all!.!.!. What worked for me was keeping my brain in control not my emotions, talking myself though things!. Also letting the people around me know not to take it personal that your just going thru some stuff that your trying to work out!. Maybe let them know what sets you off, they might back off a little!. Hope this helps!.!.!. By the way being aware of it is a really big step!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
