When youre extremely depressed....?!


Question: When youre extremely depressed!.!.!.!.!?
and nothing is helping (medication or therapy!.!.!.) what do you do to try to make yourself feel better!.!.!. How do you deal with your emotions!.!.!.!.

side question: do you think it's ok to just let yourself cry yourself to sleep!.!.!.as a way of releasing your pain!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

crying helps let it all out, but like the other person said, its self pity!. when im depressed i just think im lucky cuz theres so many other people out there who have it way worse than me!. you should have a diary, write till ur hands hurt, relieve yourself!. do something that requires a lot of concentration, to keep your mind off of what is bothering you!. watch tv, listen to music, read, play some games on the net, do sudoku!. i have cried myself to sleep many times, and i think it does help a bit by releasing, but it does no good at the same time!. well i hope you feel better! <3Www@Answer-Health@Com

NOTHING WRONG WITH CRYING

If you've only recently started medication give it some more time, it can take a while,gotalk with yourdoctor about depression and bi-polar and other depressive disorders you may have been misdiagnoised or the medication may not be working correctly for you !.

So, when I was in middle school/high school years I would cry myself to sleep!. But you've got to realize that the reason why you cry is because of self pity!. It doesn't release pain it makes you feel worse for yourself and make the people who cause you pain to seem even badder!.

=) I feel better when I give all I've got into doing something I love!.
Like playing the cello, or guitar, or drawing a picture that requires a lot of attention!. Sorry if I sound like a nerd!. lol!.

think about something funny, or a time u were happy!. music really helps too!. sure, just don't hold it in, it only makes it worse trust me i know, realize that u may be depressed now, but when something goes right you'll appreciate it even more!. hang in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

thats a stupid answer above me,she doesnt know the difference between self pity, and crying, sleeping being down all day and not knowing the reason why!?if we knew why we were dpressed then it would be fixed!. i have been there, feeling like i have nothing to live for,calling mt dr when i felt suicidal, talking to family, when you are depressed nothing helps!!!you just have to take it day by day knowing that it can only go up from here!. and there is nothing wrong with crying yourself to sleep at night, if it makes you feel better!.i do it all the time!. good luck!.

One night a man had a dream!. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD!.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life!.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD!.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,

his life there was only one set of footprints

when you see only one set of footprints,
