Would anti depressants ever be prescribed to an addict?!
Question: Would anti depressants ever be prescribed to an addict!?
Or any kind of drug used for chemical imbalances!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Very frequently antidepressants are given to addicts, quite simply the drugs can't be abused!. You can't get high off them, they're not pleasurable, they've got the abuse potential of tylenol!. Also, depending on the substance abused, many addicts injure parts of their brain and require treatment for depression!.
There are certain other drugs used in psychiatry, such as Valium(benzodiazepine tranquilizers), and Adderall(amphetamine like stimulants) which should absolutely -never- be given to addicts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
