What's the best medication for Social Anxiety Disorder?!


Question: What's the best medication for Social Anxiety Disorder!?
I'm taking 20 mg of citalopram right now, but it doesn't seem to be doing enough!. Any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was wondering how long you have been taking them for!? Sometimes it can take up to 2/3 weeks before you feel any effect, and up to a couple of minths for them to fully get into your bloodstream and really start working, so stick with them for 2 months!. If after the 2 months they're still not working, go talk to your doctor!. They might be able to either increase your dosage or change tablets!. Some tablets work well for some, and not for others, it might take a while to find the tablet that works best for you!.

please keep in mind that they aren't a miracle cure, you have to put some work in yourself!. tablets can only do so much!.

medication only offers you temporary relief so if i were you, i would stop taking them!.
your asking for help is the first step!. you know that you have it and you want to be better by asking other people!. that's really in itself a big step already!.
here are my suggestions:
start with some introspection!. think about getting to know yourself better and well!. think about what you want, what you love, what you want to achieve!. learn to like who you are, learn to love what you are!.
think about small steps leading to big achievement!. start with your family!. talk to them!. if you really can't, write them some letters to tell them what you want to say!. do this to your friends, or those you want to be friends with!. it might be strange for you and for them at first but there's no harm in trying!. the other possibility is that they want to be friends with you too!
relax and exercise!. walk or bike at least 45 minutes 3-5 times a day!. this will energize you!.
eat healthy!.
do something nice for other people!. help an elderly cross the street!. ride the bus or train instead of your car!. this way, you will encounter different kinds of people!. while on board the bus or train, you can offer your seat to a pregnant woman, an elderly or a disabled person!. doing something nice for other people will make you appreciate yourself more and will make you feel good about yourself because you are doing good for yourself as well!.
people watch!. go to a coffee shop or in the mall!. just sit and drink coffee while watching people go by!.
