Nephew hearing voices, otherwise seems normal. Is he okay?!

Question: Nephew hearing voices, otherwise seems normal!. Is he okay!?
My 17 year old nephew confided in me last week that he hears voices inside his head!. He was worried, because he was reading about schizophrenia on Wikipedia!. He says he has ALWAYS heard voices since he was a little kid, that there is a man who usually talks, and a boy who sometimes talks!. They usually say nonsense, but sometimes tell him when to get up, remind him to take a shower and brush his teeth!. He says they sometimes remember where he has put things if he can't find them!. Sometimes they will talk to him all day, sometimes they will be gone for months!. He is such a nice boy and very bright!. Outwardly he is totally normal!. I am the only one he has told!. He thought everyone had voices!. He doesn't seem schizophrenic to me, but it does seem abnormal!. Anybody else hear of anything like this!? I don't want to go to my sister unless it's something serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi,

I hear voices and I'm not sz!. There are people that hear good voices!. I hear bad ones!.

If he doesn't have all the symptoms of sz there may be another reason he hears them!. Now would be a good time to have him checked out!. They may go away for years and return!. There's really no way to tell!.

I think at this point you should leave it up to him!. I only say this because he doesn't seem to be afraid of them and they don't seem to be causing him any problems!. If he's done good in school and has friends, does normal activity's, why not just see how he feels about it!. You must be someone he trust if he told you!.

I would educate myself on hearing voices and keep an eye on his symptoms!.

Here is a link for more info on voice hearing:

It's not really a website all about sz, it's more along the lines for hearing voices!.

Feel free to email me anytime!.

Take care

I don't think he is schizophrenia!. It could just be his subconscious talking to him he may have trained him self to remember thing!. He could just as well have a problem, but before you go to your sister tell him what you would like to do!. He trusts you don't lose his trust he may come you again when he needs help
good luck remember he trusts youWww@Answer-Health@Com

It might not be a mental illness, it might be psychic ability!.
Check the library or Internet for information on the psychic part!. If there is an alternative book store in your city, check with them!. They will have connections with the psychic community that can help determine that!. Then tell the sister or tell the sister first if she is open-minded!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

many illnesses have auditory hallucinations as a symptom, schizophrenia is one, but not all types of schizophrenia produce auditory hallucinations!. I know people with bipolar that have it as well!.

I'm not sure what else to tell you!. Maybe you should talk to him more and see if maybe he has more to tell you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could very well be schizophrenia, or it could possibly be a teenage cry for help!. It all depends on his environment and overall emotional state!. Talk to him, see how he feels about his life and how he navigates through his daily routine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He should talk to a counselor or psychologist there are medicines that can help before it gets worse!.If in fact
there is a problem!.Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your nephew is schizophrenic!.

Tell your sister!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly, that really does sound that schizophrenia!. I would DEFINITELY tell his parents to have him see a doctor!. They will do a brain scan and be able to tell FOR SURE if he has that or not!. If not treated soon, he could possibly get a lot worse to where he becomes incoherent and unable to properly communicate, as well as signs of "crazyness" and the inability to function normally in the world!. if he does have it, they can prescribe him meds that can keep it under control!. Please make sure he goes to the doctor!. This is serious!. Mental illness is not something to play around with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He has confided in you and is worried because of what someone said, not because he is upset with his life!. Schizophrenia is tied into inability to socially cope!. If you have read your Bible you will know that there is the Holy Spirit, and angel, and demons, and Satan!. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice and another they will not follow!."

These saw and heard angels and / or God:

Mary, the mother of Jesus
Joseph, the stepfather of Jesus
Abraham, Lot, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Elisha, Gehazi, Elijah,Paul the apostle, John the revelator, Isaiah, etc!.

Jesus Christ talked to the devil!. He put him on top of the temple and told him to throw himself down!. Jesus talked back to him and told him scripture!. Now what do you think T's psychologist would say about that!?

The Pseudo- science called Psychology is the most inexact science there is by its own "experts" admission!. Many, thousands, I would say, have been hushed in their testimony of the supernatural phenonemum they have experienced due to a fear of being locked up!. Personally I would not want any psychiatrist getting paid for playing with my mind just because he could not see what I see or hear what I hear!. That is like sending a sighted person to a blind person to try and figure out why he sees blue, especially if he does not really believe that there are colors, but are just a figment of that person's imagination!. The same with deaf vs hearing or color blind vs!. not!. The big difference in this comparison is in who is in the majority!. Something does not have to be experienced by the majority to be true, whether good or bad!.

I had a young man living at my house that I rescued off the streets!. He was a psychiatric patient, and had psychologists assigned to his case that told me one thing!. The young man told me what happened, how it all started!. This young man was almost 30 and periodically trembled from brain damage that the psychiatric drugs had done to him!.

Another young man "befriended" T!. T would go with him and this other young man pointed out "shadows" to him!. T could see them also!. He told T to help these other people by taking the shadows off of them and letting them get on him,T!. He said, "That is when I started getting sick!."

His psychologist told me, "T thinks that he sees the devil!."
Then, at my lack of shock, he emphatically told me that T really thought that he literally saw the devil!. I just said "Ohh!"
There are people that you just do not tell certain things to!. They can not appreciate what you tell them but will instead hurt you!. The Bible calls it casting your pearls before swine!.

When ministering I have heard many a tale that the person has never told anyone for fear of being locked up!.

Does your nephew have a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ!? If so then he can ask the Father to reveal to him where these voices come from, Him or someone else!. Then if he becomes convinced that they are from the devil, he needs to pray for it all to stop!. Submit unto God, resist the devil, and he will flee!. Ask for discernment!. With God, greater is He that is within you than he that is the world!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
