Question: Does the idiot that gave me the stupid answer to my question want a response!?
My son has not been protected from society from me!.He graduated from college at the top of his class, he was also engaged and held a job!. But this disease has progressed to the point that it has taken over his life!. So if you think for one minute,smart guy, that I have babied him, think again!. Maybe you need to be more educated about someone before you put your foot in you mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just read the answer that you are talking about!. There are a lot of people that believe tough love is the answer to these problems!. I'm sorry that you came in contact with one of them in your time of need!.
So many people think that a person must be weak minded because of a mental illness!. If they would only educate themselves they would understand!.
I myself deal with the stigma of a mental illness everyday!. It makes it harder to get a grip on it with the way people look at you!. They think your crazy or just a loser!.
Please know there are so many people that do understand what it is like and are there to support you and your son!.
May I suggest a support group for both you and your son!. I'm in two of them on Yahoo health Groups!. They have both educated me and helped me in my time of need!. It would really benefit your son to talk to others who go through everything he does!. They can help him cope and root him on when things go his way!. They also have support groups for family and care givers of people with mental illness or disorders!.

I'm with ya!.!.!.!.!.people don't understand unless they've been there!. It's easier for some people to think that your an enabler than to agree that your son has a serious problem!.
