Answers:
No, that's not actually bipolar disorder!. Irritability like what you have may be associated with a few personality disorders, but most likely it is due to anxiety, hormones, not getting enough sleep, or stress!. I think you are probably more normal than you think you are - most people, especially women, do have mood swings!. I'm not sure what age you are, but if you are an adolescent that also adds to your stress and hormone fluctuations!. If anything, I guess you could consider Borderline Personality Disorder a possibility (but keep in mind that this disorder is also relatively rare)!.

Bipolar disorder involves more drastic changes in mood across a span of, on average, months!. They tend to be manic (very hyperactive, doing irrational and dangerous things, overspending their money, traveling, etc!.) for at least a month, sometimes up to half of a year, and then they may switch to a depressive phase (not eating, sleeping most of the time, having no energy, not leaving the house, etc!.) for several months!. The mood changes aren't nearly as abrupt as you are describing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would go to the doctor but to me it sounds more like anger issues then bipolar!.!.!. bipolar is more of ups and down like really high highs and the really low lows like happy and on top of the world and depressed and lonley the nextWww@Answer-Health@Com

Intermittent explosive disorder, check it out, see if this sounds like you!. I have plenty of experience with this problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
