How do i control my temper?!


Question: How do i control my temper!?
lately me and my boyfriend have gotten into a couple of fights and im always the one starting them and i always end up getting physically violent!.!.!.my bf has threatened to leave me next time i go off and hit him!.!.!.i really love him and dont want to lose him but i find it extremely hard to keep my hands to myself!. how can i control myself next time we get into a heated arguement!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, ::HUG::! I used to do that same exact thing with the love of my life!. We dated for 3 years, and it wasn't until AFTER we broke up that I realized he was the one who caused all of my anger!. He had a special way of pushing my buttons, of knowing exactly what to say to get me upset, and how to keep me going, even when I tried to calm down!. Whenever I hit him (i never hit anyone in my life before him), he would make such a big deal about it, telling all of our friends and his mom!. Even I was convinced that I was the crazy angry one, not realizing he was obviously emotionally abusive!. After all, I loved him so much, I was blind to my own suffering!.

We broke up 2 years ago, and he obviously wasn't the love of my life!. My temper has not been nearly as strong or violent at all since he's been out of my life!. I count my blessings everyday that he's gone!. I'm not saying you should break up with yoru guy, but definitely take a good look at the fights, if he twists things around, if you feel like you're the crazy one when you know you're not!.

Also, have you ever been this way before, with anyone at all!? Siblings, friends, exboyfriends, etc!. Realize that it may not be all you!. Relationships can become toxic to both people, and sometimes you have to step away from a problem to see that it even exists!. Good luck!! This is not easy!. :-(Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to stop the argument before it happens!.!.!.!. stop letting stuff pile up inside and if he does something to make you mad right then say excuse me and walk to the bathroom or go for a walk take a few minutes to calm down and thing about the situation!.!. then go back in and talk to him like a couple should!.!.!. it is called communication!. it is normal for couples to fight and to disagree on many things but you need to let your self calm down befor adressing the situation!. it is hard and i know sometimes you just want to get in there and rip him and new leg but you have to think he has feelings just like you and you both need to sit down and talk to each other not at each other!. when he speaks let him talk even if you diagree everyone in intitled to an opinion!.!.!. then when he is done ask for him to give you the same reaspect!. yelling usually starts because one person is trying to talk over the other person and then it turns in to yelling and fighting!.!.!. tell him you want to talk about the situation and that you want to do it in a mannor that will not distroy your relationship!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to do the same thing, but I don't know if I can really give you advice because mine ended badly!. My boyfriend ended up hitting me back and breaking my nose and shortly after we broke up!. Then I was very young and stupid though, if it would've happened now when I'm older, I think I would've just walked away!. Maybe threw on the MP3 player and took a walk to cool off and then come back!. That helps me with my anger now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you love someone really much you wouldn't turn violent, try not to start a fight!. It may be difficult, but it's or the best!. Or use a bottle to squeeze on when you're map!. Or cover your mouth with a blanket and scream in it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
