Try to imagine that it's your 'evil twin' at work!. I'm not suggesting to create an alter ego!. You could just 'daydream' about it, then you come in and save the day from the 'evil twin'
Or just think to yourself "That 'thought' has no business being here"
Other suggestions; talk to someone (doesn't even have to be about those evil thoughts, just something to get your mind off of it)
turn on the radio, read a book, go for a brisk walk!.
