What can i do to stop and be more thankful for what I have, and what I can do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Try but giving yourself 3 seconds before reacting to anything!. Breathe and then take on anything that comes your way!. It will allow you to think before completely overreacting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First take a deep breath when you dont get what you want!. Then think about what you would be losing if you dont overreact!. Most of the time it wont be a big deal! Then think of how your life would be if you didnt get what you want!. It wouldnt be sooo horrible, would it!? ask yourself these questions!. Also think back to the last time you overreacted!. Was it worth it!? How bad would you feel if you did it again!? Think about this for a moment then camly think about the pros and cons that could happen!. like if you wanted to go out somewhere and your mom said no: If you pressed the situation- the pros= you could go to the place, the cons= your mom or dad would be frustrated with you and would be less willing to let you go next time!.!.!.!.!. but if you didnt press the subject and think "maybe next time" , the pros= your parents may let you go another time AND they wont be angry with you, the cons= you wouldnt be able to go see it THEN !. (but when you act responsibly your parents might let you a different time) What sounds like a better choice!? talk calmly to your parents and ask if its possible you could do what you wanted a different time! i hope you can use this to help you!. sorry lol i kno that was wrong but i have had the same issue so i can emphasize! GOOD LUCK!Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a counselor, I have experience in working on these issues!. Talk to your parents about getting help for these problems!. Despite what happens!. you can be responsible for how you deal with situations, what you think, how you act!. You can control you!. Instead of reacting, take time to think of what the situation is, the best way to deal with it, the best way to cope!. Consider writing in a journal, or listening to music, or some other positive way to vent your feelings and deal with them when something happens!. Have it in your mind that you are going to focus more positively and practice this every minute of everyday!. Hope this helps!. Take care and be well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start by being extra careful in taking care of your body!. How you are physically affects your moods greatly!. Exercise reduces stress drastically, give you energy, makes you feel more positive, keeps your moods more steady, and even helps you sleep better at night!. Getting enough sleep is also key to feeling your best!. Of course, if you eat healthy foods and drink plenty of water, your body will feel even better!. Definitely stay away from alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes!. Each night before you go to sleep, list in your mind all the things you're grateful for!. At any given moment of life, you have what you have and that's all!. Some day you may have more, and some day you may have less, but each day has something to be grateful for!.

Try it and see if it helps!.

Food diary!. Smaller plates and bowls!. Find some low or 0 calorie foods and drinks you like!. Think carrots or watermelon for snacks!. Crystal light makes alot of low cal drinks that taste pretty good and take care of a sweet tooth!. When you eat, try to slow down and really taste it!. Maybe make an entry in the food diary as you eat like a food critic might!. How often are you eating food that is really so good that you MUST have more!? Try to get yourself into the good food now, but also good food tomorrow mindset!.

You could try meditation or prayer!. Talk to someone!. Maybe a councelor or therapist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Overreacting is a defense mechanism of some people in order to alarm the other person in believing that he/she's affected or displeased with an insult or slander!.

I think you should examine yourself as to why do u act that way!. If you can manage it, then i advise you to consult a guidance counsellor or a school psychologist =)

close your eyes, breathe deep and visualize eating if that is what calms you, slowly transition to imagining an alternate activity like walking or running to calm yourself!.!.!. and if it is convenient start walking or running for real!. it will be healthy mentally and physically!. if you need to *feel* the sensation try gum along with the previous suggestions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make a concious effort to think before you speak!. Even if you feel yourself over reacting you can stop yourself mid sentence and just say hey!.!. think about it!. Its not something that can done overnight but everytime you think something might be bothering you!.!.!. just stop and think hey!.!. how should i handle this!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just try to be more laid back and slow your reactions!. Just slow down and take it in!. Give yourself a chance to catch yourself if you start to go down the wrong road!. Also, try to be fun to be around, this will usually subconsciously help you to put negative thoughts aside!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

just use your head constantly ask yourself if you are over reacting and if you think you are going to over react walk away from the problem until you feel less stressed about it, which you probably will seeing you know you over react and after you do im sure u regret it & realize you shouldnt so just use your headWww@Answer-Health@Com

Practice one of the relaxation methods in sections 2, 11, 2c, or 2i, daily, and when needed, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris

(The following is a variant of Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing therapy, which has been used successfully for those people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, insomnia, and anxiety: it is easily learned, quick to use, yet can be very effective!. It is easy to be dismissive of such a seemingly unusual technique, but give it a good tryout, for at least a few weeks, to see if it is effective in your case)!.

Prior to using either of the methods in the above paragraph, first sit comfortably, and take a deep breath!. Then, without moving your head, move your eyes from the left, to the right, and back again, taking around a second to do so (say: "a thousand and one": this takes approximately a second)!.

Repeat this procedure (without the words, although you can count, subvocally, if you like) 20 times: "A thousand and one; a thousand and two!.!.!. " and so on, to a thousand and twenty!. Then close your eyes and relax!. Become aware of any tension or discomfort you feel!.

Then open your eyes, and take another deep breath, and repeat step one, closing your eyes, and relaxing afterwards, in the same manner!. Then, repeat the procedure one last time!. Some people may find that this is all they need do!. With experience, you may find that you can practise this in public, with your eyes closed, which greatly widens the window of opportunity for its use, and avoids attracting unwanted attention!. I have found that the 2 - 3 minutes spent using the EMDR markedly reduces distractions to the relaxation process, and is repaid many times over!.

I also use it prior to my chosen relaxation technique, after lights out, at night!. For more about Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing therapy, showing recommendations by those who have used it, including a professional psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience in that field, see sections 33 - 34, at ezy-build!. She was skeptical, at first, and I remained unconvinced, until trying it, and now I use it twice daily, including after lights out, at night!.

Also try yoga & t'ai chi!.
