As a counselor, I have experience in working on self-esteem!. It sounds like yours is low and you are being too hard on yourself!. You seem to have a lot of negative thoughts going on in your head!. These thoughts need to be replaced!. So, when the negative thoughts come up, try replacing them with something positive!. Write out your thoughts to help you vent them and write reasons why these thoughts may be incorrect!. Keep feeding yourself positive messages to change the negative tone of your thoughts!. Each day, take time to appreciate the positive that you have been able to do and focus positively about every situation!. Consider talking with a counselor or going to a support group to get extra help with this!. Hope this is helpful!. Take care and be well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you feel guilty, even if it's groundless, you can redeem yourself!. make a concerted effort to become a better person from this point forward!. go out of your way to leave everyone and everything better than you find it!. if your intentions are good than feel no guilt, if your intentions are good than failures are just opportunities to learn and nothing more than an honest apology is needed!. i hear exactly where you are coming from, trust my advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

We are all only human!. All humans are fallible!. Everyone makes mistakes, but the best thing to do is smile, or laugh at your mistake, and learn from it, resolving not to repeat it!. A previous post follows:

HATING YOURSELF!. Re-program your emotional responses!. Hate is a strong term; reduce it to: "I dislike myself, and my life, at present"!. This allows for the possibility of change!. Realise, and accept that YOU are the one who programmed your mind, and that YOU have the ability to re-program it!.

See the tips at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris in section 2, particularly those in the mental-health-abc and conquering stress websites!. Use the negative thought reprogramming technique, and read page 2L!. Recognise, and challenge your negative monologue (self talk)!. Make a conscious commitment to being positive, and optimistic, even if it is apparently unrealistic, or inappropriate, because of the benefits it will provide, later on!.

WORK, to change yourself into someone you can think much better of!. See sections 38, and 47, and volunteer, even from home, at first, to provide a solid basis in reality for the daily affirmations: "I am a good person, who is valued by my community, because I (insert activity here)"!. As one insightful (paraphrasing poetically) person put it: an affirmation, without foundation is just mental masturbation!.

Read: "Lift your mood now!." by John D Preston, Psy!.D!. 2001, New Harbinger Publications, Inc!., 5674 Shattuck Avenue, Oakland!. CA 94609 http://www!.amazon!.com/ may be worth trying for this, as it has a good section on building self esteem, using a different approach!. You can also learn to use the EFT, in section 53, several times daily: "Even though I dislike my current life situation, I deeply and completely accept myself"!. Consider taking up yoga, or t'ai chi!.

The answer is SO CLEAR! Get rid of the CHOCOLATE in your life! Some people have serious reactions to caffeine that make them feel self-loathing, depressed, contribute to rage or lacking in self esteem!. Depression is an epidemic in our society and Starbucks is on every corner!. Does no one notice this!? Besides the caffeine in chocolate, the chemicals that are used to grow and process it can give people problems too!. The fact that your username is Chocoholic!.!.!.hmmm!.!.!.think about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't try to completely get rid of this, because it means you have high standards and expect a lot from yourself!. But just loosen up and realize that regret is a waste of time!. Whatever decision you made in the past, you chose it over other decisions for a reason!. Learn from your mistakes and realize that you are the only one who completely understands your situation!.
