Question: Is it okay to skip a day!?!?!?!?
I only have one lexapro left for tommorow is that okay if i skip a day (sunday) my doctor wasn't open!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I looked it up and the only thing I could find about skipping a day was this:
What happens if I miss a dose!?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember!. However, if it is almost time for the next regularly scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the next one as directed!. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose!.
I'm sure for one day you will be fine but don't go any longer than that!. It's hard on your system to stop and start medications and the type you are on works best when taken on a schedule!.

It's not particularly dangerous you may get a headache, dizziness, or become more depressed/anxious!. You'll be okay, but when I worked in retail pharmacies we would give a single dose to tide people over if they needed it!. Give your pharmacy a call, explain, and give it a try!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It will be ok to skip a day, especially if you have been taking it for awhile!. It is an SSRI, and will cause no ill effects if you miss one or two days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
