Can anyone tell me what I am feeling and/or if it is something diagnosable/curab!

Question: Can anyone tell me what I am feeling and/or if it is something diagnosable/curable!?
I'm almost 18 and I've been having the strangest feelings lately!. Many of the symptoms have to do with depression but there's a really weird sensation I'm having and I find it difficult to describe!. I remember first experiencing it when I was about 12 or 13, then I either got used to it and it then gradually started going away, or it went away all together, but it's been coming back in the past 5 months worse than ever!. It's a combination of feeling like there is a cloud/fog/haze over my brain that I'm stuck in, and also feeling differently about things every day!. When I say this I mean in my general perceptions of like, my house or something!. It will feel weird to me, dark, almost not real!. The world sort of feels this way to me, and it's a slightly different form of this every day!. It's scary, and I used to be able to just take a breath and bring everything back into perspective, it's getting impossible now!. In addition I used to see the world as full of mystery, wonder, and interesting things!.!.!.now I just see it as empty!. I want to go back to how I felt before and get this cloud off of my head, so to speak!. I'm in therapy but would medication help me to feel the way I used to and to be able to mediate and or deal with these hazy strange feelings!? Is what I'm feeling normal for someone who is in a rut with severe depression or is it something else!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was feeling this way too when my depression was very severe!. Things would lose substance, very hazy!. Places that were very familiar to me would suddenly seem foreign!. And I also had that same feeling of the world seeming empty!. I never took medication, so I'm not sure if that would help!. What helped me when things would get this way is talking to a close friend, even if it wasn't about anything in particular!. It seemed to only make this sensation and the depression worse if I were alone too much!. Even being with my cat helped!. I don't know if that could help you, but it did for me!.
