Could anti-depressants stop working? lexapro?!

Question: Could anti-depressants stop working!? lexapro!?
I am on a anti-depressant/anxiety medication called lexapro!. Before I was on it i would cry all the time and feel anxious whenever I went out or thought about school!. It's just a two week trial and my doctor gave me 2 more weeks in a box!. Now I am starting to cry every so often again and I feel jittery a lot and I don't feel calm anymore!. The depression isn't as bad, but the anxiety is worse!. What's going on here!? Should I ask for a higher dose when I go in!? has anyone else been on lexapro before!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Anti-depressants (and almost all medications that work on the nervous system, namely the brain) are pretty much and mostly 'guesswork'!.

Make no mistake, they do safe lifes and they do work for the mayority of cases, but for a fraction of people, they may just work temporarily or none at all (by the way, psychopharma is the only medical field that accepts a therapeutic effect 4-6 weeks down the road!.!.!.imagine people with diabetes had to weight so long for their glucose levels to be leveled out!.!.!.!)!. It is possible that lexapro is not working for you at this point!. Talk to your health care provider (you may have to switch to another medication)Www@Answer-Health@Com

This could me more than just depression!. However, anti-depressants usually take about a month to fully get into your system so you might just need to try for a longer period of time!. Also, if this is your regular doctor that gave you the meds, go to a psychiatrist!. They might have a better way a treating your exact type of depression,Www@Answer-Health@Com

anti-depressants can take from 2-4 weeks to have effect!. Give it some time!. Nothing will make you feel better overnight!. There are also anti-anxiety medications such as xanax that the doctor may prescribe along with the lexapro!. If you don't want to do that, then when you talk to your doctor he may can increase the dose on the lexapro!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's possible, I went through a couple changes in my Zoloft then switched to Prozac and went through changes on it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
