she has mentioned she doesnt sleep well at night, and she also gets migraines quite frequently but I think it might just be an excuse for people to blame her lack of eating on the migraines!.

Answers:
it could be an eating disorder!. there is a high chance that it is!.
you need to sit down and talk to her

and maybe you could put together some resources like find a few therapists in the area and some treatment centers and get a few websites that help recovery for eating disorders!. and sit down and talk to her and give her the stuff you have put together for her!.
cuz then she's more inclined to give you a straight answer and you guys can really talk about it!. make sure she doesnt weasel her way out of answering!. ask her to atleast look in to it

she could get angry with you!. but she will eventually see that you are just trying to help her and she will see that you careWww@Answer-Health@Com

This definitely sounds like an eating disorder!. She sounds very defensive about it, and says "she eats all the time and doesn't have a problem!." That definitely sounds like denial, and you need to talk to someone about it with someone who she trusts, like a family member as soon as you can!. The sooner her problem is addressed, the easier it will be for her to get over!. Oh, and she may not be lying about the insomnia, but insomnia is another symptom of anorexia, along with migranes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
