Question: I CANT SLEEP! PLEASE HELP!!
o!.k well for about 2 weeks or soo i have been up all night n around 6AM i would get tired n fall asleep n wake up around like 4PM!.!. n hated it!.!. for the last few nights i have been going in my room around 10PM n not be albe to sleep!.!.!. n if i did fall asleep it wouldnt be for more than 2 hrs!.!. then i maybe would fall asleep again!.!. but i would wake up n it would be around 4AM n i cant go back to bed so i get up n stay up for the hole day! n YES that sucks!.!.n now it is 6:10AM in the morning!.!. n i didnt sleep at all tonight!.!. n i just dont no what it is i have tried warm milk!.!. reading!.!.staying up all night so i would be tired at night!.!. but i always end up fallen asleep durning the day!.!.n i am not take sleeping pills because there addicting!.!. n i dont want to be depending on them to get me to sleep!.!.!. is it something i should see a doctor!? i mean its not like i try !.!. everyone in my fam tells me to go to bed but i do i lay in bed ALL night from 10 til i no i aint falling asleep!.!.then its like here goes another day with out sleep! GOD!.!.!.help !.!. n ways u fall asleep!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here are some tips:

1!. Try get more sunlight during the day!. Sunlight stimulates the production of melatonin which induces a sense of tranquility and drowsiness in the evening!. It also aligns your bodyclock so your mind knows that it is day NOW, and it will night LATER, so LATER is for sleeping!.

2!. Make sure you stop drinking any caffeinated beverages (like coffee and earl grey tea) at least 4 hours before bed, in your case maybe longer!.

3!. Go to bed at the same time every night, and wake up at the same time every morning!.!. this helps you body get into a pattermn of when to sleep and when to wake!.

4!. Light stimulates the frontal areas of the brain, so for 2 hours before you go to bed, turn off the computer, and dim the lights in your room/house as much as possible!. You need to let your brain know that sleep time is coming soon!.!. so don't stimulate it!.

5!. Have a warm shower/bath right before!. As your temperature starts to drop, it may induce sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ha i have the same problem too !. don't worry it's nothing unusual!
i mean come on its summer!. you can do whatever the hell you want
but you know if you really wanna fall sleep earlier at nights do
something that makes u tired during the day!. like go to gym you know!.

limit your caffeine during the day, get out and be more active, try the bootzin technique

Then you read books or anything ,but sleep at night time!.!.!. If u can't to sleep at night time then u read any books or listen any music!.!.!.

Step 1: Ensure her emotion is controlled daily!. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get worry easily
Step 2: Think before her action!. Don't repeat her past experience on herself!. Remind herself from time to time!.
Step 3: Be confident to yourselves!. Remember everyone is the winner!. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize an egg"
Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time
Step 5: Increase scope of life!. Meaning that she should involve in more social activities like dancing, outing and others!.
Step 6: Put a rubberband on the wrist!. If there is a negative thought, Tighten the rubber band and release it!. Hence the effect of the pain would be able to reduce the possibility of negative thought!.

you should do yoga classes to start to relax yourself, and when you get home you should read a book to make drowsy, about 1 hour before bedtime!. you should start sleeping early, before 10 atleast then you will get used to it!. Another good thing is to have a warm bubbly bath not too hot or have a shower before you go sleep, remember to shrub yourself!.wearsilky clothes to sleep!. Make sure your blanket pillow's and sheet's are clean!. If your mattress is too bumpy then get a new one! when your sleeping dream of the tropical of a flowing river, it works trust me!.

Sounds like your stressed and a doctor would give you sleeping pills, anyways!. But if it is problem, then you should go to the doctors!. Cause when I get this way, normally I will have one my psychosis moments happen and when I do get sleep after these episodes are over, its about 24 or more hours later!. And I only sleep for about 2 to 4 hours!. And am awake for another 24 hours, meaning I am up for a full day or longer getting only 2 hours of rest, then up for another 24 hours or longer, getting maybe 4 hours of rest and this last for about 2 weeks to 2 months!. I would eliminate all caffeine and sugary drinks by 3 p!.m!. or so!. Coffee, soda, juices, etc!.

Take a warm bath before bed!.!.!. maybe put a few drops of lavender oil in it!. Use lavender body wash!.!.!. listen to some relaxing music in the tub!. Or if you don't have a tub, just take a nice hot shower with lavender body wash!. Lavender helps you to relax!. Read this:

When you get to your room, dim the lights!. Make sure your room is a calming influence an hour or two before bed!. Make sure the TV has been off for a while, dim the lights down!.!.!. maybe a lamp with a dim bulb!.!.!.

Another thing to try is Sleepytime Tea!. Not the tastiest tea in the world, but a little honey or Splenda in it, it'll be fine!.

I would take a couple hours *ideally*!.!.!. but at LEAST one hour!.!.!. to wind down before bed!.

Just take a good look at your diet, your habits!.!.!. your life!. Have you been worried about something!?
