i am 1 of the pessimistic friends lol sometimes just joking around about being pessimistic makes me feel more optimistic if that makes any sense!.

when dealing with someone with depression the last think u want 2 do is let them stay by them self !. they have depression and they need help!. you can say stuff like your not alone, I'm here for you, I'm not going to leave you until your better!. It's not easy staying around them cause they are down and most likely want to be alone!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
