Answers:
i was diagnosed w/ bi polar when i was at my phyciatrist!. i was surprised!. but my signs that i had before i knew i was bi-polar were, not having regular moods(like when someone who usually makes u laugh, says something funny and u no longer laugh), u get times when u feel SERIUSLY depressed, times when u get REALLY hyper, mood swings, + when u have alot of days when u get mad at every thing!. those are some of the main signs when u have bi-polar!. u can also go to the doctors, and if he/she thinks u may have bi-polar, he can diagnose u, then send u to a physciatrist(someone u c once a month who watches what ur new meds are doing) and the phycatrist, can get u some sort of mood stablalizer, (if neccesary) and i was on abilify!.
good luck! if u have more !?'s or anything, write me a message, i have bi-polar and understand!.

You will have bouts of depression, but other times you will be manic!. This means you will be extremely hyper and positive!. These phases can last hours, days, weeks!. Pyschiatrist can prescribe medicine, but you will have to have routine blood tests!. I read your profile and it says your into poetry!. Now is the time to write!. Most writers have tortured souls!. This also tells me you have depression!. Writing is good way to express yourself, but if the feelings start to hurt too much!. Definitely seek professional help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A doctor or psychiatrist would best be able to help you!. I can tell you what I experienced with my former girlfriend who was bipolar!. At times she would become rather hyper/manic and disregard the feelings of others to get what she wanted!. She at times had a hyper active sex drive, acted out not only with me, either!. Some times she believed she could do great things with her life, but the reason she hasn't is because there's always someone else to blame (not her own lack of motivation)!. She could sleep all day, get up in the evening and expect me to stay up with her all night, even though I had to get up early to go to work!. Day after day!. She would find little things to complain about!. Anything could set her off!. If I left for work a few minutes early, she might perceive that I didn't want to be with her!. She was insanely jealous of any woman!. She preferred to be around women she thought were less attractive than she was!. She was very self centered and I believe she saw people as a means to her ends!. She could become extremely verbally abusive!. She could become physically abusive!. Most of what I've described have been when she's in a manic state!. Other times, she will remain in bed for days on end lacking all motivation!. Her affectation is akin to being morose!. She is a Jekyll and Hyde!. At times possessed by Satan!. Being around her was like waiting for the next landmine to blow up at any moment!. Throw in alcohol and the effects are multiplied exponentially!. I don't know if this helps!. I think she had some other things going on besides being bipolar, but I'm no expert!. lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
